You'd have to include the Liberty Bowl victory to cap off the 1998 season. Actually that entire season fits, but the bowl victory under the guidance of RR was sweet, and made for a great New Year's Eve!

I still don't think he takes a snap in a regular season NFL game. If he does, watch for the pick 6's. Probably not a bad thing if he never does take a regular season snap. Ryan Griffin has made out pretty well that way. And God bless both of them for making a living playing a game they love!

Maybe there were 4 bowl games people cared about,but by the early 1970's there were 11 bowl games. Over the next 20 years that expanded to 30+ bowl games.
