Unbelievable. Wave moves to the semifinals of the AAC tournament with a 72-69 victory over Houston. WOW!
Tulane shot 2-14 from 3 pt, but Cam Reynolds hit the game winner with 9 seconds left to put the Wave ahead 70-69. Frazier sealed the win with 2 free throws.

I'll go one better.
Green Wave joined Dec 5, 2010, Jonathan joined on Dec 24, 2010. Green Wave's last post was Jan 29, 2016, Jonathan's last post was Jan 21, 2016. I guess they really were the same person.

Also, Jonathan hasn't posted anything since mid-January, just about the time Dickson cleaned out his office and left the Wilson Center.

Why did we take out France in the 4th? We were up 6-1, and he had 8K's. Only 3 hits and 2 walks.

Having trouble with WRBH as well. The stream keeps freezing. Sounded like Duester gave up a 3 run single, and Pierce was going out to get him. Have no idea about inning or anything. No gametracker or livestats that I can find either.

The publics in NOLA for the most part don't want to break away, it would hurt them financially and they have no problem competing in football and bball. This whole thing started bc of Curtis and Evangel. It was started by a principal from around Alexandria who was pissed Curtis beat her football te...

Pat Taylor must be turning over in his grave. He develops a plan to encourage kids to get good grades so they can go to college for free. Not enough kids make the grades, so they lower the standards so more kids can get free college. But that costs the state too much, so let's punish the kids that r...

I sure hope Tim Floyd is on the short list. Why anyone thinks the rumors today are news is beyond me. When the AD says on a local TV News show (sic) "The team is performing below expectations. Anyone that thinks Basketball is meeting expectations needs to raise their expectations." You kn...

Re: Pepperdine Series
Two-out bases loaded walk in top of fourth puts Pepperdine on the board. 3-1 Tulane.
That's the first run given up by a starter at home this season, if I remember correctly. (3 vs Illinois, 1 vs Alabama A&M and 2 games vs Pepperdine)

Re: Womens Basketball
Kinda sucks being in the conference with possibly the best Womens BB team ever. You're pretty much guaranteed three losses right from the beginning. Two conference games and a tournament game. So, a loss today puts us at 21-11, or 21-8 without UConn. In the past 21-8 was good enough to reach the NCA...

Re: Catholic Schools meet to go "P5" sort of.
If the Catholic Schools break off from LHSAA and form their own league, would there be any legal reason they couldn't invite select public schools? There were some public schools that didn't want to be split up. You could end up seeing a lot of the public schools in outlying areas be willing to join...

From what I heard, the day he disappeared wasn't the same as what everyone was originally told. It came as a surprise. I was also told that the football team is already feeling "feet up their @zzes, so to speak. They're in for a shock come spring practice. My guess is those that go to spring pr...

JJ, just a note. I'm not 100% sure RD is still on the payroll. I was told by a coach of another sport that RD came in one day in January, and said something to the effect of "this is my last day", and he hasn't been seen since.

LOL. You'd have thought they'd have the decency to at least get him on campus before showing their hand. Then again, it's like we didn't see it coming a mile away. In some ways I feel bad for the guy. There's a good chance whomever starts for Tulane in 2016 will have better numbers in one season tha...

Expect our ERA's to be inflated a bit after this weekend. Park obviously plays really small. Arizona and Nebraska are tied 10-10 going into the top of the ninth.
