Re: Tulane could learn from Michigan....

My opinion is to why Tulane tends to hold on coaches too long. Simply because the admin knows that coaches here have not received full admin support in the past. Tulane coaches have to work with less than their counterparts and have in general more obstacles to overcome. Tougher academics, lack of ...

Re: Bowden/Teevans

Buddy "T" worked his "magic" once again on Saturday with Dartmouth losing to New Hampshire 52 to 19. I don't miss "buddy ball" one iota. :P Parents loved Buddy wanted their sons to play for him, very similar to how parents feel about CJ today. So far that's not the onl...

Some of you on here may not give a hoot about how cr@ppy the basketball team has gotten.

Re: 2015 Baseball Schedule

Somehow it appears someone has told Rick Dickson to keep his hands off the Baseball program. Everything happening there goes against Rick Dickson's doing with the rest of the Athletic Department. Tulane hired a super candidate for Head Coach and now we are getting a highly competitive schedule to p...

Re: Montana to start against UCONN?

I would like to see Nick Montana get the start against UConn. I think he gives us the best chance to win. We finally have a credible running game with Badie, Thompson and Hilliard. Balance the run with a shorter passing game and you have the vintage West Coast Offense mastered by the senior Montana...

Lee must really be hurt. I hope it's not a separated shoulder. That would be bad.

Re: Tulane MBB gets 3 stat to commit

Joining the AAC in basketball is going to pay off nicely for Tulane with 3 and 4 star recruits. I went to a wedding last week and a few coaches told me Tulane is in the hunt for some really quality talent since joining the AAC.

Vintage Tulane 1970 QB Mike Walker

That's me at age 10 or 11 in old Tulane Stadium with Tulane QB Mike Walker.
My dad used that pic in one of his articles for the States Item.

Re: Is it True?

Is there any truth that the Price brothers were a RD pick and not CJs? Does RD have any input in who the assistants are? Or is this just rumors? If this is true it proves that Dipstick Dickson is a bigger pos than I thought. Just a rumor. CJ's son Trey played for Eric Price at Memphis. CJ got to kn...

We don't need to let Montana start. We're not winning anything this year, that's obvious. Lee needs all the reps he can get. Sometimes a young quarterback may not show much improvement on a week to week basis but then one day it all clicks. Just have to have patience with him. Montana should be ahe...

Re: Is it True?

Would CJ ever throw Rollins under the bus to a fan? I don't care who pushed who, he was our 5th or 6th choice and the concern was his gameday coaching. It's our ADs job to figure out the best candidate and RDs failures put us in this spot. I am not saying CJ is a guaranteed failure by any means, bu...
