Re: UCF GameDay Thread
On pass plays are you allowed to throw it between 5-10 yards or must all throws be long balls?

Re: SMU Breaks Tulane's Heart 35-31
Coaching was bad this game. We got outcoached throughout this game. [Why didn't we go for two point extra on our last TD? it cost us the game. Offensive play calling was a joke in the 1H. We can't play offense in just the second half and expect to win games. Your bolded statement above is pretty ab...

Re: SMU Breaks Tulane's Heart 35-31
So our defense played well enough in the first half to keep the game close can't do the job on a 3rd and 17on one drive and a 3rd and 25 on the game winning drive. Our offense in excellent field position can't gain two yards on two downs to practically put the game away. Our secondary stinks! We do...

Love the Angry Wave helmet. Also love the large graphics on helmets that colleges are using today (seem to remember the Boise St Bronco as an early adopter of this large graphic). Here's what Angry Wave might look like i that style... https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/_fTuIus0NvWZa0RwycfVRzKsFOiHfa6...

Re: Yulman Stadium (Benson Field)
Being back on campus is 1000 times better. I am an extremely small sample size but I have traveled from Houston to see 5 games at yulman since it opened. for 20 years prior to that I had only seen them play at Rice, UH, SMU. As a class of 94 grad I had the most miserable game experiences at the dom...

Re: Wake Forest 7 - Tulane 3
Two things I see: 1) I think Glen missed some reads where he should have pitched and didn't. My guess is, experience and practice will improve there. He also missed some wide open receivers. Other teams make those throws. The pass to Rounds should have been six. 2) Offensive line sucks. Obvious pas...

Re: Wake Forest Score Prediction Thread
http://www.oddsshark.com/ncaaf/tulane-wake-forest-odds-september-1-2016-729522 found this interesting though I would imagine they use stats from previous year, so our change in staff and offense probably makes this prediction baseless. Oddsshark.com has prediction of ~ 20-18 Wake. they show the act...

not sure if you were kidding but "only" total of 45 Tanner Lee mentions last 3 months, 26 the 3 months prior. no legwork to break it down by user since basically non-factor (small %) in the 5 user sample...greenphantom wrote: How many of those posts made the Tanner Lee thread?

i do love conspiracy theories. In a few minutes of research by randomly picking 5 pretty active board contributors i found that activity level the last 3 months is much greater than the 3 months previous. Here's the results, names have been altered to protect the innocent ;) average posts per month ...

oh and by the way, i sat next to Dylan O on flight from Houston to NYC in October. Asked him what made him choose Tulane. Aside from stating he wanted to get out of Cali, he said he really liked Conroy. to call me a sh*t fan hardly stings considering you obviously know nothing about me or college ba...

wow, surprised to get beat up on this comment which by the way was not derogatory to Tulane but is the state of college basketball. a few years ago I thought it was an issue with Conroy but started reading about college athletes (especially basketball) that were transferring at larger than ever rates.

Re: ECU Game Thread
i am so tired of watching Dabney. His Ole defense and awful shooting make me more upset with his minutes than thethe rest of this team's deficiencies. which by the way we are again on track to have more turnovers than baskets. Down 10 halfway into 2nd half to a 2 win ecu team.

Tulsa a 14.5 pt favorite. Considering Tulane's average conference loss is 15, and Tulane is on the road and seemingly getting worse, giving the points is probably a safe bet. More interesting may be the over /under on replies to this thread. Last game drew only 4 replies, indicative of it being so b...
