Drop of a hat, a 15,000 crowd falls to 4,000. Will look impressive for the cameras.tpstulane wrote:ESPN probably put us vs USF on ESPN3 now

Wow. Massive disappointment. Just a huge setback for the program. Scared to death of success.

Terrance was born 20 years too early. I'm not taking anything from banks, but I think jones was better overall. to be fair , banks doesn't have anything remotely close to Marc Zeno, the best we ever had.

Re: COACH WF BUZZ
Fritz system won’t be successful at the P5 level. You don’t see winning P5s running option. The best talent that aspire to play in the NFL will opt for pro style systems that best prepares them for pro ball. So he can go to Kansas have a couple of 4-8 or 6-6 type seasons with the occasional upset a...

i know, right? We're not accustomed to enjoying things.waveclem wrote:Everyone keeps saying we beat a bad team. This team lost to Toledo by a field goal, New Mexico by a field goal, and Navy by 10 points. We beat them by 34!!! Enjoy the victory, especially since it came against Tulsa.

If needed , Banks could have thrown for a bunch of yards today. Nice to know it's there. I really like the tight end (Jones?) soft hands, good weapon.winwave wrote:That play by Banks when it appeared he would be sacked was really special. How inspiring that has to be to everybody else on the team.

Re: Tulane destroys the Hurricane- 62-28
Pass D struggled with a 4-5 TD lead and pass rush eased up. Some was busted assignments . It's hard to stay focused and intense with a huge lead and your offense scoring at will. We're not killers yet. Keys for Tulane against passing teams will be a stronger pass rush (it wasn't really there today) ...

Re: Tulsa GameDay Thread
Guys, Let's take a deep breath. Great game but Tulsa defense is garbage. I'm pretty sure I indicated that in my first post. Moved the needle today. Don't get too high. I think people are starting to believe that we will present problems for the top teams in the conference. I don't think anyone is p...

I have never hid my opinion that we have our coach. Im trying to not get overly excited about this win , just like I didn't get too down about navy. We have work to do and have some holes. I don't know about turning corners yet. But the needle moved today . Bigly.

We're gonna run clock the rest of the way, but the play book definitely expanded early in the game. Really nice plays with the TE. It's coming together

Perhaps the dome played a role as a recruiting tool for kickers. Kicking in perfect conditions was probably a good sell. I agree that it's hit or miss. I imagine these kids wouldn't be here if they couldn't kick in high school. It's such a screwy position. There's a freshman kicker at Southern miss ...

Re: Tulsa Score Prediction Thread
2 predictions for OT wins? I physically could not survive the stress. I don't think it was just coach speak when WF talked about "finding other ways to use banks" . Unless the run game is absolutely gashing Tulsa, (which it very well could) we may start seeing an expansion of the playbook....

glad for the win and hopeful for the rest of the season. I like WFs attitude. For such an outstanding record as a head coach, he has zero arrogance. I love how when talking about getting better, it's always "us" never "them". I don't know how anyone could root against him. That s...

Any word on Sean Wilson? Sean Wilson playing injured. or withheld from playing will have an enormous negative effect on the entire defense. If I were laying money on this game without Sean Wilson. I'd take Army. If he's not healthy in the leg area , playing the dirtiest offensive line in college fo...

The last thing you can call a person who still follows Tulane football is impatient. IMO our remaining fan base are too patient. We are far better coached than under CJ. There is no room for debate on that, however I can't be the only one worried about this offense. The Navy game was winnable and i...
