Re: Ed Daniels

I’m sick and tired of hearing about how Willie Fritz won everywhere he’s been prior to Tulane. Fritz had most of his success coaching Division 2 and Junior College. Fritz and most of his staff have never coached major college football. It’s a big difference when you are competing against the big bo...

Willie looks burnt out in today’s presser. He said he’s going to practice at Tulsa Friday. They normally practice here and then travel. Trying to change things up looking for a spark.

Tulsa Score Prediction Thread

Tulsa has had our number for quite a while now. I think it'll stay close for 1.5 quarters, then Tulane will really mail it in.

Tulane 14

Watching that interview. That’s not the same Willie fritz that arrived here.
He looks and sounds defeated. Kinda awkward to watch.

Re: Potential head football coach candidates search

I'm not disagreeing with you. In fact, I do agree with those reasons for wide splits. I'll just also say that it's easier for a shitty O-line to offer "better" blocking and less penetration when they get closer together.

Re: Potential head football coach candidates search

all of this talk about "new" Offenses...the Triple Option , the Air Raid...hell bring back the Veer...Tulane has one issue, recruiting O lineman that can actually play at the FBS level...that said, the OL coach needs to go... some of issues with Tulane's O can be solved with a simple adjustment of ...

Re: Potential head football coach candidates search

Fritz has certainly improved the discipline and training. At times we look like a legit program and the D remains pretty decent. Great take on things, but can you please explain the above to me? Not being smart or sarcastic, but I'm really trying to be convinced or see why most people think differe...

Re: Cincy Game thread

Has anyone seen the uniform reveal for this week? I sure hope we stick with the extra large Angry Wave on the helmets! BTW: the schedule on the tulanegreenwave.com website still lists our conference record as 0-0. You think someone would get a clue? I liked the extra large Angry Wave as well. If no...

My vote was 5-7 before the season started. We played well vs. Memphis, but I'm thinking I'm holding at 5 wins. Hope I'm proven wrong.

Re: Seat Licenses/Priority Seating Charge

Reading through all of this gives me a headache: https://www.greenwaveclub.com/per-seat-home You can list stats all day until you're blue in the face, but the one stat missing from all of this is winning, or the lack thereof. This plan makes sense, is justified, and WORKS if there are competitive an...

Re: Cincinnati Prediction Thread

Cincinnati - 27
Tulane - 21

This one really is a toss up for me. If we can play like we did last week vs. Memphis, flip the score. We haven't handled success and playing competitively too well in the past.

Re: Seat Licenses/Priority Seating Charge

Maybe I am missing something. I don't see anything with regard to the prices of the tickets. It's hard to make decisions about how much you are willing to spend unless you have all of the information. I fully agree that basing donations per seat instead of some abitrary group of seats makes sense, ...

Re: Memphis Prediction Thread

I had us at 2-2 at this point (wins at UAB and Nicholls). I also had us losing the Memphis game. As much as I would like to be wrong, I can't see the Wave stopping a powerful Darrell Henderson on a wet and sloppy field. Memphis 24 Tulane 14 Field may be wet. But there will be no slop. Rain really i...

Good morning, Steve. I still think the site is too white. The default font is a light grey against a bright white background. Love the band. That being said, and this isn't a knock, I would like to see some new songs / beats added to the mix. And this is more of a general statement and just my opinion, but I wish the band, the Saints, and the city of New Orleans would retire Stand Up and Get Crunk. It worked for 2009. Can'...
