Re: FIU wins 23-10

You do realize that if you're predicting a team to go 5-7, this means they're not good yet? And if they're not good, they're probably not very consistent either, because consistent would breed success. Therefore, you're going to get a game like this. I mean, the 2002 team you were on was at least d...

Re: FIU wins 23-10

Just because the team could possibly finish where most predicted them to, it doesn’t mean that they didn’t stink it up along the way in ways they shouldn’t have. It’s time to hold WF accountable. This was a CJ/Toledo type loss. If WF is who many SAY he is, then this shouldn’t happen. But it did. And...

Re: FIU GameDay Thread

We sh*t the bed. Can’t say I’m surprised. It’s par for the course and some of the same ole sh*t we’ve seen at a Tulane year after year. Good teams don’t do this.

Re: FIU Game Thread

What time is this game being played? I thought I read that it was 6 PM CST. The kickoff countdown on the right would indicate a noon start. Sorry about that... I just realized I haven't updated many of the game start times. I defaulted the games whose time had not been announced to NOON. Will take ...

Re: FIU Game Thread

This is the point in previous seasons where we've taken the nose dive and completely tanked. I'm liking what I see and am starting to get excited about Fritz. Please don't let me down this week.

Re: LSU loses to Troy

I don't get the mentality on this board that expects a Bowden-like turnaround. And you know, was that really a turnaround? We had two winning seasons, and then back to the same stuff we had before. Its been 37 years since I graduated, its about time for once that we build a solid foundation and a p...

Re: Army GameDay Thread

On the punt return for Army, it didn't look like he was touched, why the penalty? Army guy was bobbling the ball. At that point, the Tulane guy made contact. Contact cannot be made until the ball is dropped, not bobbled. He still has the right to catch the ball. Thanks for the explanation. This is ...

Army is running at will on us. Fullback 90% of the time. 4-5 yards a pop. Time of possession so far is staggering:

Re: Army Game Thread

Not that it proves anything, yet, but the major omission of the WF discussion is that, unlike his predecessors, he has won as head coach at every previous gig. Again, nothing is proven but it should be noted. You are absolutely correct. This is exactly why I thought we would have at least seen a fe...

Re: Army Game Thread

The last thing you can call a person who still follows Tulane football is impatient. IMO our remaining fan base are too patient. We are far better coached than under CJ. There is no room for debate on that, however I can't be the only one worried about this offense. The Navy game was winnable and i...

Re: Army Game Thread

I'm really sick of people who watched 4 years of what CJ did to this program and yet still believe it can be completely turned around in 15 games. Can you imagine what we would have looked like Saturday if CJ and Eric Price were still in charge? We'd have been looking at 77-0 or worse, no offense w...
