Re: Kansas Just Fired Weiss For Lack of On Field Progress

We must do it like TCU did it. No top coach would have taken that job 10 years ago. Lets just hope C J grows into the head coaching position fast. He needs to find strong assistant coaches. At a school like Tulane, I really like the idea of the head coach calling the plays whether it's offense or d...

Re: 1 - 11

Looking at the schedule before the season, I think most had us losing to Ga Tech, Duke and Rutgers. It is the freaking Tulsa game that is the killer. My support for this year is on life support. We must win the next one. If we don't, I'll see ya'll next year. That is correct. The real killer is the...

Re: Kansas Just Fired Weiss For Lack of On Field Progress

Amazingly with Weis, Kansas will pay him well over $5 million after being fired and Weis is still collecting millions of dollars from Notre Dame after being fired there. In comparison, No way Tulane would owe CJ anything close to that if he were to be terminated after this season or next. Of course...

Re: Robert Kelley - UPDATE Charges Dropped

We lost one game we should have won Tulsa if we had a FG kicker on campus. We should beat UCONN and should be competitive outside of ECU in most of the remaining games if Lee can remain healthy.

We want Montana to start next week He went 5 for 5 today. I wouldn't get too excited all were safe being less than 5 yards. He should be ahead of Powell though. So we will stay excited about your guy who has tossed 9 picks and is regressing. Montana needs to start. Yes. He's our future. He was doin...

We have RBs.
Needs the spots for new recruits.
That may be true but both are going to redshirt. I asked coach how many scholarships are available and he said low 20's.

Re: Robert Kelley - UPDATE Charges Dropped

Why is rounds redshirting? I'd play Kelly - we'll be fine at RB next year. I don't get the RS on Rounds. I know they think he has great athletic ability but if the light hasn't come on for him at a position by now I doubt it ever will. Hope he proves that wrong next season. As for Kelley what I've ...

Very true. The fact is this league is not going to put up with BS shenanigans. The AAC will kick out programs if they feel they are not carrying their weight. Tulane better get its act together.

Bingo! No pressure up front this season.

Re: Bowden/Teevans

Not having a FG kicker ready this season is on the coaches. The same penalties week in and week out is on the coaches. We are not putting our talent in position to have success. The offense is at best is vanilla and the defense has regressed. It's very disappointing to see the season over so soon. C...

Re: Rutgers 31 - Tulane 6

Our pass rush last year was outstanding which led to many INT's and corners could gamble and get away with it. We no longer have Davenport and Warmsley up front. Look at the pressure Rutgers brought to our QB's. It was the difference in the game.

And if certain insider types had been telling the truth about how in Dec. 2011 TU then supposedly being totally bound and determined to open the checkbook and do whatever to bring a solid head coach to replace Bob Toledo TU would never have hired Curtis Johnson or at least not as a head coach.
