Re: UCONN Game Thread
Don't see us winning this one. Why not? Picture yourself as a UConn fan. You haven't scored a TD in over a month. You've scored 3,0,0 in your last three games, and you're on a 5 game losing steak. The QB you're playing hasn't generated a single point in the entire time he's played. Your coach is on...

Re: Temple trounces the Wave 31-0
The eyeball test already showed that the game plan and execution was terrible. The stats further support that WF did not put GC or the team in any position to succeed this game. You can't be that predictable and expect different results. I won't even get into how unimaginitive our running plays are...

Re: Temple trounces the Wave 31-0
I agree with D. If it's true that Tulane is making more major mistakes now than it was at the beginning of the season, that's an obvious sign of regression. Eh, I'm on the fence on this issue. I agree in parts with D and WW. My heart wants to say what we've seen is straight up regression, but then ...

Re: Football Recruiting 2017
Encouraging news the last few days with regards to all the JUCO signings. However I am a little puzzled, Blinn College where WF won 2 national championships has 8 players in the JUCO top 150 according to 24/7 sports. Jonathan Banks, the only Tulane commit on the list is at 130. Disappointing that F...

Re: Temple trounces the Wave 31-0
An interesting exercise would be for each of us to calculate a coefficient of personal suffering: Total our game expenses. Include TAF contributions, travel to and from the games, season ticket costs, food and beverage expenditures, accessories purchased (shirts, jackets, tees, etc), subscriptions ...

Re: Temple GameDay Thread
The old saying is well coached teams get better from the beginning of the season to the end barring major injuries. I think it would be tough to say that is happening. Also to simply gloss over the lack of difference making recruits currently committed would be disingenuous. I hope this juco QB is ...

Re: Jonathan Banks
Banks appears to be an upgrade, but I'm not going to count my chickens till they hatch. I am more concerned about getting quality lineman that can block in Fritz' scheme. With a good O-line, almost any qb can be successful...

Re: Football Recruiting 2017
Thanks for the link. While he said he has run Fritz' offense there wasn't one play in there involving the pitch. He won't have as steep a curve as those guys we had this year but he will have a learning curve here. I went back and looked as well. And I also found this, which is from his year at Con...

Re: Kevin Ledee
Welcome Mr. Ledee. Besides his gaffe of saying University of Tulane, Mr. Ledee is a serious WR prospect from Houston. His HUDL shows he has great length and ability to attack the ball at it's highest point. He's 6'5 185 pounds (the range he's going to have at 6'5 will be impressive once he develops ...

Welcome Mr. Kuerschen and kudos to you for saying Tulane University. 24/7 Sports has Mr. Kuerschen as a 3* prospect, with offers from the service academies and a bunch of ivy league schools. (Safe to say his grades are there.) http://247sports.com/Player/Chase-Kuerschen-89735 Rivals has him listed a...

Re: Temple Game Thread
If Temple plays smash mouth football with us, that should work to our advantage with our defense. If they attack the edges, then it might be a long day. If GC can progress and not regress, we should be in for good things. Hopefully we will get a lot more roll outs for GC like last week. Temple's D-l...

Yeah I posted about this while getting a live view from Houston and knew immediately it was an ACL/MCL injury. Sucks. I hope for a speedy and full recovery for Mr. Johnson.

Re: Football Recruiting 2017
According to that hudl link he's 6-3, 225, and runs a 4.46 40. No question that he is an athlete. The question is is he a quality dual threat QB. I only have 2 questions for Mr. Banks, 1. Can you throw accurately? 2. Can you pitch the ball on run options? He certainly looks like he has the skills b...
