Re: Tulane Beats Grambling 9-4
He kind of has no choice but to do the radio part when he's doing both at the same time. Baseball is best when 2 are doing it so it sounds better because it's the same amount of talking, but it's 2 different people.

Re: Going to be a long spring and summer for AD Harris
That's an interesting idea. I wonder how she is perceived in the D1 coaching ranks. She certainly has experience at every level, and steered some of our best recent recruits to us from John Curtis.Forever TU wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 11:14 am Women’s Basketball needs to hire away Barbara Farris from Southern Miss

Re: Jalen Cook Suspension from LSU
LSU men's basketball coach Matt McMahon said Monday that point guard Jalen Cook is currently suspended from the team. McMahon said Cook, who transferred back to LSU from Tulane last spring, did not accompany the team for Saturday's game at Vanderbilt. McMahon said at his weekly news conference that...

Re: ACC Expansion
I totally agree with the general point here. We've been reading this kind of speculation for 2+ years now. It's nothing until it's something. Why are you so negative! All the time about everything. Be positive! Be happy! Again, it's nothing until it's something. That's not being negative, it's bein...

To put our early season into perspective: https://twitter.com/Guersmith/status/1764481189891493965 None of those three teams he mentioned even have a winning record. He should have just stated that UCI remains unbeaten after this weekend. We haven’t beaten anyone that would be noteworthy yet. That'...

Re: Yale Series Thread
There are teams in the Ivy League that every team in the over 25 men's beer league I umpire would defeat 100% of the time. Yale went 0-3 last weekend against that powerhouse Northern Florida, being outscored 22-8. and lost to the MIGHTY Green Wave 11-1 yesterday. I'll stand by my statement that thi...

Re: 2024 Football Schedule
I I would argue that there is more of a chance of exposure playing on Thanksgiving night. People are watching TV and there are just a few sports options on Thanksgiving evening vs a regular Saturday with games going on all day. Further, the night NFL Thanksgiving game is usually a throw away game. ...

Re: Has Hunter lost his players?
it was obvious two weeks ago that Hunter lost the players trust. I am not defending Hunter, but I don't buy that assessment at all. The players are frustrated by lack of success, but the players are still fighting hard. They could have easily folded today when they got down by 20 with 13:00 left, b...

Re: Yale Series Thread
This should be a weekend sweep. With all the teams from the North looking for early season games in the South, we’re playing a bad Ivy League team. Actually, we are playing a middle of the pack Ivy League team. I think they were 10-11 in conference last year. There are teams in the Ivy League that ...

Yep. They’re won’t be any Memphis fans making that trip either. A Friday would have been perfect. Quit complaining about TV, audience and the Conference choices to showcase itself on tv. Showcase itself? They are going up against the NFL all day. If someone does want to watch college football, the ...

That's a very generally complaint so it doesn't mean much. What is the specific "coaching problem" as you see it?

Good win for the Wave. They got the lead early and responded every time UNO scored. They missed in some opportunities to put the game away, but this is not last year's team.

It’s now full Helter Skelter. The NCAA is dead and buried. The only way to reel in the madness is at the conference level. If a school wants to voluntarily be in a conference then here are the rules you have to follow—otherwise adios. Yes. I think the P’s will be ok with Pay for Play the G’s not so...
