Re: UCONN board approves move back to Big East
But going forward, watch out for the services academies now that it looks like any pro caliber players will be allowed to delay their mandatory service obligation until their pro career is over. This may well enable them to start attracting much better athletes--which combined with huge numbers of ...

Re: UCONN board approves move back to Big East
LOL. You're getting all worked up about nothing. All I did was post an article that showed the pros of them coming. It was on topic and so I just threw it out there. I seriously doubt it will happen. There's a lot of issues with BYU and scheduling is just one of them. As to scheduling Tulane was onc...

Re: UCONN board approves move back to Big East
As to the service academies they also tend to go down once in a conference and those teams see their offense every year. It happened to Army and is now happening to Navy. Good point. Though Navy seems to give ND fits and that's one of the longest continuous rivalries in D1. The Middies don't win ve...

Re: Manning Passing Academy 2017
Jonathan Banks is participating in the camp. https://manningpassingacademy.com Hope that's not the same source that said Spoon was the next coming on the mound. On a serious note it's good to hear. He'll have better coaching than Tanner got but the offensive line play still needs to impro...

Re: Wave lands a commitment from Justin Ibieta QB!!!!
I'm glad we got him but Justin is not on the same planet as those guys. He's a project. Also as I have pointed out he's coming from a low level of competition There's no guarantees here. If he ends up playing baseball at Tulane it means he failed at football. I don't want that.

Re: 2020 football recruiting
I get you. I'm just saying I think more get it than you think. A couple of posters not taking the time to look at it themselves and are just told we're in such and such place and jump to conclusions shouldn't set you off so.

Re: 2020 football recruiting
R- I do realize that and thought I was clear on it. Everyone understands that quantity can skew the numbers. We do look at the quality and so far most of us like the way it's shaping up.

Re: Wave lands a commitment from Justin Ibieta QB!!!!
This one has nothing to do with TJ. It has everything to do with his playing QB and not being in a position to miss any time in spring practice and he can't risk his arm being injured which is happening frequently in the sport of baseball.

Re: UCONN board approves move back to Big East
You have to wonder how many people at UConn are pushing this. We all know how easy it is in today's social media environment to make a small group seem like the overwhelming majority. When Cowen suggested that Tulane go down in football, even he put it out there in public first, which allowed a pub...

Others are inquiring and doesn't have to be from the northeast.

Re: CWS #1 seed jinx continues now straight 20 years
Not trying to spin. Just keeping it current rather than going back almost 20 years to try and make something fit. Twice in 5 years is almost 50%. Much better than the 1 in 4 indicated above. It is what it is.

Re: Ron Hunter Interview
What Hunter first says in the radio interview is that we only have one player returning who played in the conference tournament game. His later references to Zhang as the only returning player that played is clearly referencing playing real minutes last season.
