Re: Being there vs. on television
Perhaps they could construct a metal screen camera stand on the two light poles nearest to the press box. Don't know about any weight constraints on those poles though.

Re: Being there vs. on television
As someone noted all you need are TV deck cranes which are used at every televised golf tournament. They are absolutely portable. Ideally those would be placed on the West Side but I would guess they could be positioned on north end zone and East side as well (although It's already pretty busy over...

Yes as sader has said. I'm old school though. I remember the Double A days. UNO was at a lover level back in the Ron Greene days.
Bottom line they are not under the same transfer rules even though they are considered DI.

I think basketball and baseball are different animals. Southern in the past has been to the NCAA's in baseball and basketball more than most because of the autobid.threeputt wrote:I don't know, for example Georgetown plays a pretty "real" type of D I basketball!!!

Re: Southeastern Game Week Thread
Let me try to explain. Under the old system you had D1 and DII. Tulane was DI and SELA was DII. The NCAA changed how that was classified. So now instead of DI and DII all those schools are considered DI but under DI you have FBS old DI Tulane and FCS DII SELA. The same old rules apply. If you want ...

He's played in a game this year so he's not going to be eligible anywhere else at any level. He's staying in school and plans on getting his Tulane degree. Placing more emphasis on academics than athletics at this point. He has only one semester left to get his degree. He quit the team........ like...

Re: Southeastern Game Week Thread
You are incorrect. SLU was not in division II. They were division 1 and they still are. All through the 1970's it was DII, then they dropped football from 1986 to 2002 altogether. Then they hired Hal Mumme in 2003 to bring back football at the Double A level.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southeast...

Why is it that LSU gets to wear white at home, do they just have opponents that are super duper nice and accommodating? I am just very frustrated. Re: WVB LOSES both matches in opener at Texas A&M.
Well, if RD acts quickly- like now- and hires an important coach, we still have time to get Campen and some other great local talent. This is bizarre but word on the street is that Tulane WVB has made no effort to recruit Kampen who was Gatorade MVP in Louisiana last year and has been dominant play...

Our facilities are never going to be BSC quality. We don't have the revenue or the donor base. We have to make do with less. But what we have now is not stopping us from winning in the AAC. No. We don't have to make do with less. That's an absolute canard and a typical excuse from the admin. That's...

Three things you can be certain of re: another drop in rankings: 1. Cowen will be praised. 2. The Katrina card will be played. 3. The university will dismiss the rankings as unimportant/inaccurate since Tulane is moving in the wrong direction. And because of that tuition will increase.... Did you n...
