Re: Do you support the stadium as it is currently planned?

I guess my answer is no. its just too small. I want Oregon State's stadium. Look it up. It's tight as hell at 41,700. It goes straight up. I dont know if it could fit.

Re: Stadium Capacity ( 21K, 23K, 25K, 5K SRO ??? )

In my opinion, this shuttle thing is another pacifier for the neighborhood. Also, it's included in your ticket. Its there if you needed. Bad weather? Running late? Catch the shuttle, its paid for. I agree that 32K should be the absolute bare minimum. If we're going anywhere at all, it needs to be 40...

Re: L. Blouin transferring, B. Sanders medically disqualifie

Where has Devon Breaux been playing? He was a good QB at Donaldsonville. I know he was brought in as an "athlete", but he has a lot of ability. WR. He was a running QB in high school. He can't play QB in college. I saw him getting some punt return reps in at practice also. I think he'll end up bein...

"CUSA will likely add Florida International, to the Eastern Division with North Texas and UT-San Antonio on the Western Division. Then, it could either add Middle Tennessee State to the East or keep UTEP in the West or have them move to the MWC and add in their spot Charlotte." And the fork is firml...

Re: New Conference

Well, we already have a sun belt program (at best, unfortunately). Plans for a sun belt stadium. Why not be in a sun belt league? We are what we are. And I disagree about those other programs that they will pass us. We can't beat those guys now.

Re: Syracuse game

Does the #1 team in the country need the refs as their allies? Really. There were some horrible calls when it still mattered. A no call on a goal tend. A phantom off tulane fingertip on a bad Cuse pass. That's life on the road against a beast. They would've gutted us anyway. We might even win a goo...

Re: Tailgating

Look at gameday as an 10-12 hour event. The game is a small part of the day. When you look at it that way, it's not out of the box to think of tailgating along st.charles in the park over by Loyola. I know, its a 25 minute walk to the stadium, but its not that bad and people walk further in other pl...

Rwr, how u figure baseball team is winning. They are the 2nd worst program is cusa right now and struggle to qualify for the conference tourney. Whatever the record, that's not winning baseball at tulane.

Re: PARKING ... PARKING ... PARKING (and badly needed)

There's not a parking problem. I walked 2 miles to tiger stadium more than once. Its called college football. This is what happens at college football games. You don't drive up to your gate and hand them your ticket while you lock your doors. You don't park in a known illegal area because its across...

Re: Breaking News on the Big East taking CUSA teams

I say let them go to the Big East. They will be crawling back soon enough when the Big East implodes. What a joke them traveling 1800 miles for a baseball game or track meet or better yet tennis or golf. Good ridens.....SMU, when June Jones leaves will be a bigger laugh..same with Houston. They hav...

I would actually be comfortable with Frankie. I'm sure he plans on riding SCC into retirement, though. Very, very good football coach. Think his tulane bridge is burned after his tour on the buddy system, though.

Re: Coaching Candidates (All Encompassing)

Ya know exile, I think the point is the word "good". No we are not a breeding ground for good coaches. But the point I think he was making is that GOOD coaches have success here. No coach that lost at tulane went on to win elsewhere. (That's a gsx from yogwf quote) tulane just doesn't make good hire...
