Re: Melvin Frazier now projected 1st round pick
when some of the underclassmen that were playing in the NCAA tournament declare, Frazier's stock will drop. Most of the ones who declare will have carried their team. That is somethnig Mel hadn't done.

Just goes to show what a great coach does - can get you to the dance and win a game or 2. Too bad we settle for mediocre . Pathetic

Re: Tulane loses a tough one to ULL in 11, 5-2
It is widely assumed that a former player of a coach is considered his protege. As far as $$, there are ways to work it out. Problem is the Tulane administration doesn't care to. Very easy to do- if a LA kid meets tops, then Tulane can say that any student athlete who meets tops can qualify for 100%...

Re: Dishonest Question
Wave755, thought we were talking basketball, but since you want to bring up baseball, I'll play along. S Ala usually has a very good team year in and year out. Since ULL will be playing Tulane next, let's see what this coach does in regards to pitching. When you leave a guy out there early in the ga...

Re: Melvin Frazier now projected 1st round pick
so Mel is banking on one of the top 5 teams in the NBA to hopefully pick him in the 1st rd. If they don't, what then? Don't trust a few nimrods just cuz they saw one or 2 highlights of you making a great play. Not only that, but most underclassmen haven't announced if they are coming out. Get about ...

Re: UCONN MBB fires HC possible $10 mill buyout
If Tulane would get its act together, this wouldn't be an issue. So much talent in La and MD can only get Daniels from St Aug. Look At ULL and other local schools. They are getting better talent than Dunleavy, who by the way has a losing record in the NBA and at Tulane

Re: Tulane not alone in attendance woes
that is a main reason why I quit attending. After years of attending games, I felt it was ridiculous to pay that kind of money to watch Tulane get its ass kicked almost every time out. After a few years of sitting in the endzone seats at Yulman, since Tulane wouldn't offer me better seats unless I p...

Well. That's funny. Cuz without Arnie falling on the sword after Katrina, Benson would have the Saints in San Antonio.

Just when I think this team may have turned the corner. Then I realize they are coached by a has-been ex NBA coach with a losing record.

That's because he recruited a certain QB that knows what it takes to win and has killer mentallity that wasn't even given a sniff by this coach. Would be a perfect fit for this crappy offense Tulane runs.tpstulane wrote:The current Nicholls St coach winning at that sh1t hole. The same can be done here.

Thats what happened with CJ. Had to get him 3 years to see what he could do with his offense. How did that work out again? Need Lionel Washington back. He was the architect of the D we have now, and he knows enough to get us a great OC to succeed here.

Re: Oklahoma 56 - Tulane 14
This offense will not work for Tulane. Dont have the OL to be able to do this. Too much La talent to play this style. Unfortunately will take at least another 3 years of this garbage before TD makes a change, if the program is still in existence . Tulane barley has fans in the stands now. This offen...

Yep, this will be the second year in a row that I haven't bought season tickets. Been a season ticket holder since the early 90's and been going to games since the 70s. I refuse to pay a surcharge and will be dammed if I am going to sit in the end zone. Can't see cr@p when the game is at the other e...

So the survey will get great reviews from the 3,000 season ticket holders who still care. The ones who quit because they didn't change what we were telling them sucks, it doesn't matter to them now.

this is why it is STUPID for Tulane to have LSU host camps together Anyone remember Dule Riley? He had Tulane down as a finalist along with a few other schools. Right after a few LBs bolted on committing to LSU, they went and poched him right before signing dates. They will look at this camp and hav...
