Well yea, if he'd rather throw hard than get outs than it's not going to get fixed until he changes that. I'm not sure it's as simple as overthrowing. Probably a good thing if that's what all it is.

Too soon to tell. Solesky has looked good in his starts. Some of the other freshman have had some good innings and some bad. Take a look at Tighe Dickinson's résumé. Not impressive at all. Lot of team ERA's around and over 4.00. Awful. Won't fault him too much for our bad bullpen but The work he's done with the returning studs doesn't seem to be doing well. No thoughts on this? Anyone? Someone mentioned needing a new pit...

I was for the Jewett hire but this is a disastrous start. Hope we can turn this around. The comments about firing him now or that Dannen doesn't care about baseball are dumb, but if this season ends up a disaster, a change needs to be made.
