Re: Butts in the Seats
We need to beat FIU. There is a little momentum here, for once we need to capitalize on it. Lose that game and the casual fan will think it’d business as usual losing to a directional Florida school. Whether that’s the case as we know it if we want to build attendance we have to draw ppl who haven’...

Re: Excellent Tulane Recruiting podcast
Great listen, thanks for posting the links!
We definitely need some recruits for the O-Line and WR. The good news is our targets are higher than previous years but we're winning some of the battles with P5's.

Just win, baby. Just win.
And I think we all agree this team is loaded to do so.

Re: Butts in the Seats
I don't know if this is still an NCAA By-Law, but a few years ago the NCAA had a minimum stadium requirement of 30,000. I have always thought that was why "Cow-Dick" kept claiming we had a new stadium with 30,000 "capacity". We all know the stadium doesn't seat 30K.

Another big loss to our community. May he rest in peace. D- the place you mentioned in the OP was Bennie's on Valence Street. You're right on ww! If I remember correctly (and it's been a lot of years) that's where we went after a few drinks elsewhere before it was "after hours" at 2 AM. T...

Re: Tanner Lee
This post makes zero sense. How do u even come up with a comparison between the two QB’s? You're right, this makes no sense. There's little comparison between the two. Kapernick has played in the NFL, right up to a Super Bowl. Lee has watched from the practice squad, and didn't even make the "...

Rest in Peace Art Neville
May his family and friends all be blessed with the knowledge that Art is now in a better place. Art transcended musical and racial borders and brought as all together. As he used to say, and later echoed often by Cyril "there's only one race on the planet and that's the Human Race." AMEN! ...

Re: Tanner Lee
I've got $100 that says he never takes an meaningful NFL regular season snap. By meaningful snap I mean in a regular season game with his team not up or down two TD's. Put up or shut up . The money goes to TAF whomever wins. Fixed. I think your stance is warranted. It's possible it works out, but L...

Re: Tanner Lee
First, remember that he didn't play a lot of HS ball. Then if one takes the time to look at his collegiate career, versus just shooting from the lip like those talking heads, you see his numbers improve each season. In his last season he improved his numbers while going against better competition. ...

Re: Tanner Lee
There's no "agendas" at work here. Just look at the stats. He threw for 46 TD's in college and 37 INT's. That SUCKS. And he's not "taking barbs with class" from this site, he probably never sees it. He's cashing an NFL practice squad paycheck, and has one NFL minimum paycheck und...

Re: 2019 FB Schedule
CFN has us playing in the Liberty Bowl. Kind of odd because the AAC doesn't have a Liberty Bowl Tie-in despite having a team there last year. https://collegefootballnews.com/2019/06/bowl-projections-college-football-playoff-predictions-preview-2019 But I'd be very happy to be playing in a bowl game...

Graff, We have never met, but I feel like I've known you for years. Your passion and knowledge of all things Tulane Athletics was shared over the last 25 years. Just as you thanked coaches and others for sharing information they weren't required to share, I thank you for sharing all of that passion ...

Re: Top / Greatest Moments in Tulane Athletics History
You'd have to include the Liberty Bowl victory to cap off the 1998 season. Actually that entire season fits, but the bowl victory under the guidance of RR was sweet, and made for a great New Year's Eve!

Re: Tanner Lee
He is playing pro football. Jeez. Why is he attacked on this board. So weird. EXACTLY!!! He's making more money playing football than any poster on this board has ever done. Even if he's only on the practice squad, which he's eligible for one more season. Good for Tanner. But he's not making $495k ...
