Re: Eric Dickerson on the situation at SMU
There you go. Private non P5 schools are at a crossroads. Uh, no. Schools that do not commit to a successful program are at a crossroads. Private non-P5s who do end up as P5s. See TCU. Please stop excusing our university's leadership decisions. We have to acknowledge mistakes if we are to correct o...

Re: Tulane MBB gets 3 stat to commit
Joining the AAC in basketball is going to pay off nicely for Tulane with 3 and 4 star recruits. I went to a wedding last week and a few coaches told me Tulane is in the hunt for some really quality talent since joining the AAC. Obviously we better as the rest of the league is as well and they are l...

TPS very accurately noted that decisions are made from the top down: The Board of Administrators hired Cowen and President Fitts Cowen hired Dickson Dickson hired Toledo and Coach Johnson Coach Johnson chose to remain with his pro team rather than begin immediately with Tulane Coach Johnson chose h...

One other thing of note. CJ coached with the Saints and put off Tulane until the Saints season was over when he was first hired.

OC Lindy Infante made Larry Smith, OC Rich Rodriguez made Tommy Bowden, damn shame CJ didn't get to pick his own OC ? CJ not only picked his OC, his son Trey (now a GA for Tulane) played for EP at Memphis and CJ hired EP's brother as QB coach. CJ is 100% responsible for this staff. TPS, a friend at...

Re: Tulane could learn from Michigan....
My opinion is to why Tulane tends to hold on coaches too long. Simply because the admin knows that coaches here have not received full admin support in the past. Tulane coaches have to work with less than their counterparts and have in general more obstacles to overcome. Tougher academics, lack of ...

Buddy "T" worked his "magic" once again on Saturday with Dartmouth losing to New Hampshire 52 to 19. I don't miss "buddy ball" one iota. :P Parents loved Buddy wanted their sons to play for him, very similar to how parents feel about CJ today. So far that's not the onl...

Let's just hope that Nick doesn't get hurt.JerseyWave wrote:Mix run, pass, run, pass and then take the occasional shot downfield to Shackleford or Veal. Oh wait, never mind, expect an offensive line penalty on the downfield shot!

Re: 2015 Baseball Schedule
Somehow it appears someone has told Rick Dickson to keep his hands off the Baseball program. Everything happening there goes against Rick Dickson's doing with the rest of the Athletic Department. Tulane hired a super candidate for Head Coach and now we are getting a highly competitive schedule to p...

Re: Montana to start against UCONN?
I would like to see Nick Montana get the start against UConn. I think he gives us the best chance to win. We finally have a credible running game with Badie, Thompson and Hilliard. Balance the run with a shorter passing game and you have the vintage West Coast Offense mastered by the senior Montana...

Lee must really be hurt. I hope it's not a separated shoulder. That would be bad.
