Re: Supporting College Athletics versus Professional

First off let me say that Tulane decided to pull itself out of the SEC, Tulane decided to relegate its athletic programs to secondary status, Tulane decides to not compete on an even level with everyone else, Tulane decides to put little or no money into its own athletic dept., Tulane keeps an Athle...

Re: Vision lacking from the Administration(Multi-use Stadium

From a strictly cost-benefit analysis, actually improving the football "PROGRAM" could be done way cheaper and way quicker than building an on campus stadium. The President and board possess the ability to improve this program drastically through their own actions within the year. No red t...

Re: When I knew

Do you want to limit this football program to 35,000 capacity? 24 months of winning from 1996-98 brought us from 3K to 38K in the Dome against less than attractive opponents.

Re: Vision lacking from the Administration(Multi-use Stadium

We already know the answers: 1) Allow him to recruit at the same sta...

Re: Academic Standards ... or Delusional Arrogance?

My question has always been if Tulane prides itself on being Great "Educators" why are they so afraid to educate? Why are they so afraid to take a guy with a 18 ACT and "educate" them? Being in New Orleans how positive of an impact on the African American community in New Orleans...

Re: Football Transfers

Also, what does it say about YOGWF that you cant say negative thing about a Tulane coach during the season, but as soon as someone transfers because said coach is doing a horrendous job you can bash the living sh*t out of the kid and talk about how he wasn't any good to start with.

Re: Football Transfers

Either these players weren't as good as advertised (which means Toledo really can't recruit) were selfish me first type players (which means Toledo isn't recruiting the "great" kids we are told he is) or they were promised a more dynamic/prolific offense and became disgruntled (which means...
