Re: Duke Score Prediction Thread

Okay, I'll take your word on it. I turned off the Rutgers game early last year and also missed most of the Memphis game so maybe they did run it again after the GT score. Hopefully Cutcliffe is not watching any of our summer practice/OC highlight clips!

Re: Duke Score Prediction Thread

Keeping it positive for the season opener. Greenies 28, Duke 10. The Wave pulls an upset. The Defense stuffs Duke and our amiable/calm OC starts the season out hot and we score 4 offensive TDs setting us up for the the best offensive production ranking by a team led by our OC in 6 years (2 at Memphi...

Re: 2015 Football season tickets

I too was concerned whether the season ticket card would be a hassle. My experience was that I was able to transfer my 4 tickets that will not be used for the UH game to a buddy and then transfer all 4 of my Duke tickets to my iPhone all within 10mins. Surprisingly quick and efficient. I'll reserve ...

Re: Scrimmage report- 8-15

Winwave - Thanks so much for your practice and scrimmage reports. It really helps us Greenie-out-of-towners get a sense for how the team is progressing. I have flights and hotel booked for the September 3rd opener, trying to stay positive, and hoping for the best this season. One question for you is...

Re: Personal letter to President Fitts

Good luck Robert. I couriered a letter to President Fitts in early Feb that detailed my background, my contribution-tier over the last 5 years, welcomed him to the University, and advised a couple of specific shortcomings in athletics and academics. I assured him this was the first time that I was m...

Re: The $10,000,000 Y Challenge

Excellent point tpstulane. As a contributor to both Tulane and Rice athletics funds, I can definitely see a difference. Friends of Rice provides an excellent detailed annual report of where all the contributed funds are allocated. I've never seen any transparency from TAF. Although it is a pity Rice...

Just Pathetic. Happy to contribute to a gofundme campaign. Someone lead the way and I'll gladly contribute. It can't get any worse than our current AD.

Re: Football Spring Practice

Reading the Advocate story about CJ canceling two spring practices this year just made me even more down on the direction of Tulane football. I believed last year as the losses racked up that the coaching staff must have regretted cutting practices by three sessions last year if just for the aesthet...

Re: duh schedule

I hope I'm wrong, but unless there are big improvements made on offense and special teams, there is a strong chance we'll be 1-7 headed into the last four marginally weaker teams. Would've been much better if we could have played UCONN, SMU, and Tulsa in the opening couple of months of the season to...

Re: Prices's staying

A&M won yesterday with a true freshman QB with three freshman WRs, and a defense loaded with freshman that made over half the total tackles against West Virginia. USC won against Nebraska starting 3 freshman on the OLine with one sophomore. We cannot blindly accept that our putrid football season (t...

Re: Temple Score Prediction

Temple 14
Tulane 7
Temple has not scored more than 20 in the last 6 games and they don't break the trend with us. Unfortunately, our offense is worse than theirs! I hope for CJs sake that he looks for a new OC beginning on Sunday.

Re: Once again the offence screws us

Okay Dickson has won. I'm officially becoming so numb to TU losing over the last decade that I'm looking to adopt a college team that has a legitimate college athletics program to follow. The first order of business is to deal with Dickson's buddy Price. Price is dreadful as an OC. His go-to first a...

Outstanding, Big Steve. Definitely the highlight of an otherwise miserable game. Looks like the Yoggies are keeping it classy (sarcasm intended, yea, you Sophandros). Lets see if the vaunted censors on that board take action against him. If they don't, it tells you all you need to know about them an...

Re: Tulane 31 - Houston 24

So glad we attended yesterday's game and experienced CJ's first win outside of Louisiana! Great weather, opposing fans, and a tiny group of great diehard Tulane fans in attendance (I would estimate around 75 who were not player parents in the official tailgate and two small visitor sections). While ...

Me and family will attend the game today. Basically forcing my preteen son to attend who would rather watch college football on tv with the other neighborhood kids. Extremely low expectations after we travelled to last weeks game in New Orleans. Lots of advertising by UH on Sports Talk radio in Hous...

Re: Tulane 12 - UConn 3

Ugly win but I'll take it. Great to see we got a FG from Dirocco. Thompson looked great at RB. Our tackles are killing us with penalties in every game since Rice last year. CJ or the OL coach must hold them accountable. I've never seen anything like it.

Re: Gameday Thread Tulane vs. Georgia Tech

Surprising how many Georgia Tech fans are out this morning in the French Quarter. Also many more Tulane fans sporting team colors in our hotel and in the Quarter than I recall even at the New Orleans Bowl last year. This is what college game day is all about!
