Re: Wake Forest vs Tulane
Ed told us at a GB meeting that since we are so deep he wants to press full court more this year. I think the press was effective because we had speed not size. We weren't tired because he kept subbing kids all game. I believe we played 13 kids last night. The minutes were spread around unlike in t...

Re: LSU spends 100+ Million in Engineering
No doubt. Huge mistake killing Engineering. That degree usually results in higher salaries for graduates. The avg salary for a Tulane grad plummeted once he killed Engineering. It's amazing he was allowed to do this.

Re: Wake Forest vs Tulane
Wake/Manning knew exactly how to play us; push everything out to perimeter, force us to shoot threes or throw it in to a guy who would be at a huge height disadvantage in paint. I actually thought we played pretty good man defense for stretches of the game, and we'll be more efficient defeinsively ...

Re: Wake Forest vs Tulane
EC is going on his 5th year and we have yet to get any production from a post player. We have 4 solid guards and after that we are lacking. The AAC schedule will expose this weakness. The only chance we'll have is to relentlessly press full court most of the game. We will get taken to the cleaners ...

Re: did Rick Dickson ever play sports.........
wonder if he had the same loser mentality he does now-"it doesn't matter if I strike out all 4 at bats" or "I drop the ball in the end zone". Don't know. But just because one played sports doesn't equate to being able to hire a successful coach. IMO the most important job of any...

Did he play any high school or college sports? Four-year letterman in football at Tulsa. I believe he also played baseball. http://schoolsites.schoolworld.com/schools/bkelley/BKAthletics.cfm?subpage=620897&adminActivate=1 Rick Dickson '72 The University of Tulsa Tulsa, OK Football High School A...

If all three QB's play up to their ability Lee wins in a landslide.
The problem is none of them do so on a consistent basis.

Re: Wake Forest vs Tulane
We shot 1 for 20 from the 3pt line. Had no chance against a much bigger WF with that effort. We are going to live and die by the 3 point shot this year because we are not going to be able to match up with AAC teams inside.

Re: Eric Price
For the talent TU has been able to recruit under CJ, we need to be running some version of a spread offense. Something simple with a mobile QB. All this pro stuff that he brought with him from the Saints is too complicated for kids just out of HS to comprehend, run and execute properly. We know tha...

Re: "FIRE DICKSON" Air Banner
That blogger walked out on his team when they went down 31-0. I personally saw the blogger in the T-Club during that time. He runs the Mullen Letterwinners Lounge and goes up every home game at the end of the third qtr because that's when the lounge closes and he has to clean up and shut everything...

Re: Potential Offensive Coordinator Candidates
TPS would make his protege Lee THE MAN. David Lee would be a great option. It would interesting to see if he would leave NY to return to the South. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Lee_(American_football_coach) Wow, Pete. I didn't know you were so knowledgeable about good offensive minds. He's a ...

Re: It's not Tanner Lee & It's not inexperience, it's Eric P
Lee should have been benched at least for a series or two. His throws were not even close all night. Looks like the injury has affected him. Agreed TPS, once Lee looked so bad but the defense looked so good, it was then time to go to the Connecticut game plan, dink passes from Montana and hope the ...

Re: Men's Basketball Season Predictions
Sports Illustrated ranked all 351 DI basketball teams. Tulane is ranked 233 out of 351 teams, and picked 10th (out of 11) in the AAC. They also had a projected "Top 100 Scorers in College Basketball." Jonathan Stark was ranked 81st (projected 13.8 points per game) and Lou Dabney was ranked...

It's miserable watching on TV with those low camera angles. Just so bush league. I pray next year this is corrected along with what taking place on the field. I noticed the team choose the Glazer side to stand on for this game.
