Re: Melvin Frazier now projected 1st round pick

Had you told me at the beginning of the season that Frazier would be gone next season, I would have said “Here we go again.” These last 2 games have proven that MD gets his kids to step it up. Like everyone, I’d like to have Frazier next season, but if he goes, I’ll be proud of his accomplishment. ...

OMG, the no foul calls at the end when Reynolds is going up with the ball really screwed us.

Re: Tulsa Game 2 Thread

Sehic got the T when the Tulsa player jumped up in his face and yelled foul! He replied "all ball" (on the block). BS call. They miss the FT's, but thats Sehic's 3rd foul (corrected, I thought it was his 4th). BS. And Tulsa has gotten away with at least half a dozen traveling offenses. Kee...

What a fun first half. If Sehic could make his free throws, like he did early in the year, we'd be up 15+

Re: ESPN subscriber collapse

And yet any of us that watch tonights basketball game are watching an ESPN network They should only do games. Eliminate all in studio BS except for big events. I agree, though SportsCenter for an hour or two every morning would be ok. I also like their 30-30 type shows. Hate their sports reporter s...

Re: Signing Day Thread 2018

I hope we gave each signee a 1998 National Champions t-shirt. Why? Were any of them born in 1998? When I was a Senior in HS, I considered anything that happened before my birth year as ancient history. And it seems to me that each generation become more and more focused on "what have you done ...

Re: Football Recruiting 2018

Good take D. Fritz runs a disciplined program. Students who haven't taken care of the academic side of things usually aren't going to have the discipline to fit in under WF. As for the player you asked about he did get in for January. He is DT Jeff Johnson . Thanks, win. I know it's hard for us to ...

Re: Football Recruiting 2018

I certainly agree with you that Fritz wants good students vs poor students. I was asking what I think is a legitimate one. As we’ve upgraded the recruiting talent and gone into some rural areas in Miss, Ala and Ga, are we takings more academic risks than we’ve seen in the past? By the way, I’m all ...

Re: Signing Day Thread 2018

According to Rivals, we had the fifth best class in all of G5. The only bad news is, three of the four above us are also in the AAC. We'll end up with 20-21 3stars according to 247, and our average should be close to .8300. Best we've had since 2000 was a .8003. And we have our first 4 star recruit...

Re: Signing Day Thread 2018

The number 1 ranked player in the country (Rivals), a 6"5" Pro-Style Qb has chosen Clemson? WTF? Who does that? DeShaun Watson did. He was the #1 ranked QB in college football, by a good margin, his last two years at Clemson. Watson would have been NFL rookie of the year by a HUGE margin ...

Re: Signing Day Thread 2018

Thanks for this thread, win. I didn't see it when I made the comment in the 2018 recruiting thread. Is Jackson from the same school as Thomas? Both are from Birmingham, if I'm not mistaken. One actually had quite a few P5 offers, including that school in Red Stick.

I may be missing something, but is there a printed or posted roster of Tulane Baseball 2018 somewhere where we can see on which side of the plate each player hits and if he's left- or right-handed? The printed roster on tulanegreenwave.com does not have this info. At least the site posts if our pit...

Re: Best passer on TU's Campus ?

Appears that we have our QB's for the upcoming season. Very Disappointing that what appears to be a decent recruiting class is damaged by not being able to add a QB that wants to be a part of Coach Fritz' style of play. Hopefully for 2019 Coach Fritz acknowledges his mistake and joins the rest of t...

Temple is playing much better, and we're not going to go 15-16 from the free throw line and shoot lights out as we did in the conference opener. I don't see Tulane winning this game.

For the big picture: Last year we were 3-15 in conference. This year we are 4-5 in conference with 9 conference games left to go. Thank you for a voice of sanity. Re: Tulane escapes ECU 71-69

I don't think we came out unprepared, which is what "not ready" really means. We just freak out against the zone, and for some reason our interior ball movement becomes sloppy and we don't hit our jumpers. It's a mystery why this team can't figure it out. But I again say Dunleavy knows mor...

Ok coach explain having no bigs back to deflect ball and having a foul to give and not instructing guys to foul on the catch. Re: ECU Game Thread

An ugly first half until the Wave took over later in the first half. Frazier cannot be stopped. The shots aren't falling, but they're taking it to the rim and getting a lot of points that way. Tulane up 39-28 at the half.
