Re: Why Am I Not Surprised?

Interesting idea... having the graduating seniors play scout team for spring practice of their last semester as part of their scholarship obligation. Pretty sure it'll never happen, but hmmm.

UTEP defeats TU 69-58

Great crowd, best since I was a kid in the Perry Clark days. We played terrible the first half, but adjusted the 2nd. Like many teams across the country, we are one big guy away from being something really special. With Memphis losing tonight and us being better than what I thought in conference pla...

From the athletic department:
The Victory Bell will be relocated back Fogelman Arena in time for Wednesday’s game, and will remain there until the end of the season.  We are looking at several alternatives for all our teams in regards to a Victory Bell going forward.

How's the crowd, Steve?
Decent crowd considering the Saints game. Starting to get the excitement back in Fogelman, from the fans and the atmosphere.

Re: Great Video moments in Tulane Football History

Dennis, welcome to the forum. Glad you joined! It's great to hear former players recount their days on the team. Even though I had limited playing time when I was on the team, those were some great days. I look forward to more of your posts.

You're talking about the game in 2007 right? Yeah, LSU got in a field goal right before halftime to make the score 9-10 them. By far, the most exciting half of a Tulane/LSU football game I have witnessed.

Instead of complaining where they were, TCU committed themselves to getting where they wanted to be.

We start by showing Gibson Hall that we have numbers. If we can get a few thousand alumni together, it becomes hard to ignore the message. I'm trying to begin organizing this at New Wave, so please sign up for the Facebook page, follow on Twitter and send the blog around to other interested parties...
