Re: UAB GameDay Thread

I have to wonder what team people were looking at that thought we might be 3-0 going into Ohio State Well first off we aren't allowed to watch this team so we have to guess based on expectations of players getting better with experience. Yet despite our performances so far we lost in OT and came ba...

Re: UAB GameDay Thread

Another disappointing performance in a game we should win. As others have already said this is what we do in games like this. So now we hunt 5 wins against the low hanging fruit in the hopes of making a who gives a shit Bowl. The conference is down this year but based on how we've been playing I don...

Chromecast it is! Thanks y'all.
What is chromecast?

So is there some facebook url to get to the game? Dt says it just shows up which I have my doubts. Wish Tulane would make this easier with a tutorial but maybe I missed something.
I posted the Tulane tutorial above.

Re: UAB GameDay Thread

Turns out it's not a hydration issue for Dauphine. It's a stress issue . They tried to give him fluids but he didn't need them as per Guerry Smith on our Rivals site. Hopefully he has his emotions under control going forward and can give us even more pleasure in watching him. As for the team and pra...

There are scholarships but the number is very low. I'm guessing they split those up into partials.

Re: UAB GameDay Thread

James is likely out for the season. He had a hand injury that required surgery. Fritz said he hasn't seen players play well with a club on their hands. Also I thought our other D-Line recruits were more talented than him and he was running third team. So we need to pray Johnson's leg feels better to...

SC had signed off on hiring RR {FIFY} till Sam got to him. He had also signed off on paying Bowden $600,000 to be the coach. RR was going to get what Scelfo got.
Oops. Thanks for catching that. I've gone back and corrected it.

Tulane had got off of him long ago. He didn't have a committable offer. Thus he tries to save face.

Re: UAB Prediction Thread

Wave 31 UAB 24 I agree the comments are bothersome. Our teams are so desperate for wins that when they get one they act like they have conquered the world. Then we lose yet another game we should win. They have talked the talk so now they must walk the walk. This is absolutely a big game for WF and ...

Re: Perfect Wave Podcast- Why Rich Rod was passed over

That's been discussed here often. What happened was that our then AD ,Sandy Barbour, had chosen RR. Sam Scelfo, Chris' brother, was the president of the Green Wave Club back then. He went to Cowen's house and convinced him to hire Chris b/c he would stay.

Re: NIMBY's prepare for the opening of Yulman Stadium

Thanks. There it is . It would require an expectation of 2,500 vehicles. So you could argue that if you expect less than 10,000 fansthe rules aren't in play.

Re: NIMBY's prepare for the opening of Yulman Stadium

The agreement as written makes it impossible for Tulane to make a dime hosting high school games. The full parking restrictions go into effect even for a small HS crowd. Police, street closings, parking restrictions and trash watch. Complete overkill by Cowen. Hopefully our new President tries to r...

Re: Tulane washes over Nicholls St. 42-17

Even though it was only done a couple of times it was nice to see us throw a swing pass to a RB and a ass over the middle to a TE. Hopefully we'll be seeing more of it.
