Re: WBB drops game to NC STATE 69-55 on the road.

Post-season last 5 years: NCAA tournament once, WNIT 3 times. Advanced to 3rd round of WNIT last year, 2nd round both years before that, and 1st round of NCAA the year before. This doesn't include 9 straight seasons of the NCAA tournament earlier, plus another WNIT appearance. Sorry, but no other Tu...

Re: Band Sucks

So I was in the band while I was at Tulane - with the current staff - and as much as I want to defend them because I'm proud of all the work we did as members of the band and all the work the staff has done as a whole, I can't really argue with y'all. Maybe your presentation could be more PC, but th...

Re: Dickson Visits TCU to get Stadium design ideas

It's almost comical how outraged people are over this. Why is it so unbelievable that he would be looking at details right now? The way construction projects work is you get all the major details done first, with a site plan and basic structure laid out, THEN you can begin looking at finishes, mater...

I don't remember which article it was exactly, but something I read yesterday on Baseball America mentioned "BCS schools."

Re: WOMENS BASKETBALL

We supported TU women's hoops when we won. I've been at Fogelman with 2500+ crowds. Apparently when we were 11-2 with a top 30 RPI we weren't winning enough for you. Because attendance sucked. She beat LSU. How many other programs at Tulane can say that. She beat LSU again this year. How many progr...

Football Scoop reported today; " Tulane: Sources in New Orleans telling us that David Johnson, head coach at St. Aug, will join Curtis Johnson's staff. We have not confirmed that it's a done deal yet. Looks like it's a done deal now. http://www.sportsnola.com/sports/tulane/579676-tulane-to-add...

Re: Question

Super, it could be that "perception is now reality" thing. The culture at Tulane has changed over the years. During the early 1970's and prior Tulane was attended by more kids from Louisiana then not. Today the student body is made up of a much different demographic. So much so that local...

Re: TUMB

I was in the band the first season it came back, up until I graduated, and yes, the stagnant numbers are frustrating. It's probably a mixture of reasons keeping the band from growing more, but the first and foremost is the football team doing terribly. No student wants to sit through that week after...

And going after someone's job for a debatable "offense" is really pretty overboard. The only thing "overboard" is your hyperbole. Nobody, other than you, said anything about "going after her job." I'll paste my own comments: "There's no "targeting" going...

Re: OCS vs. IPF : The Facility Debate

I think it's pretty reasonable to assume they've already considered the issue of parking. There's the Rosen Lot for one - I'm pretty sure they could put a decent parking structure there. As for fitting the stadium, I've heard they'd demolish the tennis courts and put the entire thing at a bit of an ...

Re: T-P, IMPORTANT

First off, this is my first post after I essentially got shouted out of YOGWF a while back, so uhh..hello! I have to disagree...a lot...with your statements though. To say that "Tammy has lost her credibility with Tulane fans" is just as much an over-generalization as you accuse her of usi...
