Re: Tulane Whips ULL 41-24 In The Cure Bowl

Right. He’s not considered a D-1 QB now. If he stays he’ll likely be moved to WR or TE. I will respectfully disagree only if we can keep our new OC. The great thing about JMac is if he is able to start next year it gives Daniel's another year to learn. I wouldn't cross his name out just yet. Howeve...

Re: Football Recruiting -- 2019

If the recruit doesn't announce his commitment, we won't find out until Wednesday. Tulane coaches have said that too many times, they have lost a recruit because other schools used our scouting to find guys they should go after once we announced the verbal commitment. The word is that Tulane alread...

Re: Tulane Whips ULL 41-24 In The Cure Bowl

Hurts a bit to lose encalade, but we are swapping him out for mcclesky. A proven vet WR, who is top 10 all time in yards and tds at Oklahoma State. I would say that’s an upgrade over encalade if he stays healthy. Dauphine/Bradwell/ amari Jones all back and a year stronger, more mature and wiser. I’...

Re: Tulane Whips ULL 41-24 In The Cure Bowl

To Cajun Fan, I’d like to apologize for some of our fans. Every team has a few. There’s absolutely no reason for us to be snarky. For god sake, we’ve been the sphincter of college football for years but I do think we’re in a forward position with our program. Our defense, especially our young playe...

Teams that could potentially become bowl eligible today, that we need to pull against:

Wyoming
USM
Maryland
Arizona
Minnesota
SMU
FAU
Kansas St
Colorado
USC
TCU

Obviously, if SMU loses, we're in regardless.
So much "Tulane" in one statement.

Double win for me today.
Good! There is no reason to celebrate 6 wins. That loser mentality is WHY we have only been to a few bowls. This staff needs a shake up. 6 wins will help keep it intact.

Honest question fellow Wave fans.... let's say that the season ends and the Wave finishes with a losing record (let's say 4 wins and no real close games like last year)..... do yall think CWF would shake up his staff (getting rid of Ruse mainly and maybe one or two others) or do you think he would b...

Re: Ohio St. Game Thread

I hope that Fritz realizes that we’ve regressed on offense. The Ruse is on us believing the preseason hype. Is this better than a CJ offense? Not by much. This is just a badly coached team with a high school offense. Tell me to get the f out again like after the WF game. And I love the comments on ...

It's time for a new coach. This guy is going to play in front of flies real soon. This offense doesn't work, and the defense isn't good enough to carry the team.

Why not recruit and develop a freshman QB?

Time to sit Banks.
I would definitely start a new qb to start the 3rd. I'm not taking anything from UAB.... but Tulane just seem like the would rather be elsewhere.

5,000 fans at an opening game against a P-5 team we have a decent chance to beat. Also, pre-season talk has been positive about chances for a winning season in addition to having a hyped experienced returning starting QB. Banks has been bad so far. Defense is playing well but getting no support from the offense. McMillan should be starting by mid year. McMillan cant catch the ball AND throw it..... drops hurt tonight.... Dauphine being in the game for a handful of games hurt.... this wasn't necessarily a MUST win ga...

Great to hear. Will be interesting to watch pitching staff cut down on walks and find out if it was mechanical (release point, arm slot)
I'm to lazy but if Latham could come in and improve the numbers by say 20% (less walks, wild pitches and more "strikes") I would say we could be in a regional.

Are we allowed to be happy over this or do we need to crap over it since the guy wasn't a 5* dude from Alabama?

Nice to see the staff add an experienced offensive lineman who was highly recognized (even if it was in a lower conference).
