Re: Kelly Comarda
I always look hard for reasons to be optimistic- hard to find that here. Not making this inexpensive investment ($200k/yr?) will get around athletic circles. The ACC is gonna have openings and we send this message, at this time. I remember a year or less after Tommy Bowden arrived, Tulane pulled a ...

Re: Kelly Comarda
Let me guess, the board thinks that Tulane is back to the bottom of the barrel now? Everything negative that happens, doom and gloom follows. Go take a walk outside. He is not the sole reason why Tulane turned things around and EVERY PROGRAM will take major hits in this environment, whether it's pl...

Re: Kelly Comarda
Kelly was offered a job and took it. It was that simple. He loves Tulane just as much or more than anyone on this board. If you only knew how badly the coaches at Tulane wanted him, how much Kelly wanted it, but in the end Tulane would not create such a position. It is as simple as that and Tulane ...

The A.D. is not going to get rid of Hunter let alone do anything after this season with Uhlman. All this talk about Tulane finally realizing that
a successful athletics program can bring great things to the university is just all b.s.!

When you hire the assistant of a LOSER this is what you get ! Who does that? Very true and ONLY atTulane. I wonder if all this talk by Tulane about really making an effort to build a strong athletic program so we can move up is just the usual BS! Start with getting rid of Hunter and I would have a ...

Re: Tulane v. UNT- AAC Tourney Game Thread
Despite some of the easiest schedules in Green Wave basketball history, Ron Hunter has been a total failure. He now loses his best players, so what do you think next year will provide. Five years is clearly enough time to build a basketball program. Hunter’s bottom line after year five—LAST place i...

I totally agree with the general point here. We've been reading this kind of speculation for 2+ years now. It's nothing until it's something. Why are you so negative! All the time about everything. Be positive! Be happy! Again, it's nothing until it's something. That's not being negative, it's bein...

Good story by Ed Daniels on both Tulane and UNO. . He’s going to have David Harris on his SportsZone show this Friday night and ask questions on that. https://crescentcitysports.com/can-tulane-uno-baseball-programs-return-to-glory-days/ Tulane defeated UNO, 6-3, in the first game of the Pelican Cup...

Re: UAB Game Thread
D- everybody knows how Tulane athletics acts and that there is a good chance Hunter is coming back. But most everybody wants him gone and that's why these forums exist so that people can vent about the situation and let their feelings be known. That also leads to discussion of possible replacements...

It did not work out for Buddy at Tulane or Stanford but he had a great career at one of the top schools in the country and
left a remarkable legacy. I am so sad that he had to leave us as he had so much to offer the sport of football.
