Re: Tulane v. UNT- AAC Tourney Game Thread
Despite some of the easiest schedules in Green Wave basketball history, Ron Hunter has been a total failure. He now loses his best players, so what do you think next year will provide. Five years is clearly enough time to build a basketball program. Hunter’s bottom line after year five—LAST place i...

I totally agree with the general point here. We've been reading this kind of speculation for 2+ years now. It's nothing until it's something. Why are you so negative! All the time about everything. Be positive! Be happy! Again, it's nothing until it's something. That's not being negative, it's bein...

Re: Can Tulane baseball return to its glory days?
Good story by Ed Daniels on both Tulane and UNO. . He’s going to have David Harris on his SportsZone show this Friday night and ask questions on that. https://crescentcitysports.com/can-tulane-uno-baseball-programs-return-to-glory-days/ Tulane defeated UNO, 6-3, in the first game of the Pelican Cup...

Re: UAB Game Thread
D- everybody knows how Tulane athletics acts and that there is a good chance Hunter is coming back. But most everybody wants him gone and that's why these forums exist so that people can vent about the situation and let their feelings be known. That also leads to discussion of possible replacements...

It did not work out for Buddy at Tulane or Stanford but he had a great career at one of the top schools in the country and
left a remarkable legacy. I am so sad that he had to leave us as he had so much to offer the sport of football.

Re: Going to be a long spring and summer for AD Harris
We need help fast but will we see it? I am hoping that AD Harris has been watching the men's and woman's basketball closely and understands we have serious issues. Sumrall will help open the door to another conference , I am sure of that. We don't need these two programs helping to close it. As far ...

Regardless of whom anyone wants to say is responsible for the IPF, the fact remains: We've gotten more transparency and specifics from David Harris in ONE MONTH than we EVER got from our previous two ADs. Exactly, I was not thrilled with the hire but starting to like this man and think he just migh...

I was wonder more about the part "the culture wasn't bad, but can be improved". If we had full buy in, the culture shouldn't need improving. The players saw Willie have damn near both feet out the door and "come back" only because GT goofed. They saw Willie wink at the camera du...

For most games, I can only watch for a few minutes before getting nauseated. It's like watching a playground game in NYC. Are we ever
going to have credible basketball and baseball teams at Tulane or is only going to be in one sport, football. Golf, where are you? My main man!

No doubt they have something to prove after not playing and/or producing much. The last couple of years most of our transfers had played a good bit before coming here. This year it's a mixed bag. We all believe in HCJS and his staff looks solid so hopeful they pan out for us. WW makes a good point ...

Coach Sumrall has not yet coached one game at Tulane as head coach.. All the whining about his possible departure and who will be the next head coach is ridiculous. Fisch did a good job rebuilding Az football but it was his sensational young QB, Noah Fifita, that really made
the team so successful.. There was a delay in getting a new contract signed and it looks like that may have played a role.
