Re: Fritz and staff lose the clown show 27-23

It’s impossible to excuse this loss. We had an extra week to prepare. We were at home and a TD favorite. We were playing for revenge from last season. And we wore the unbeaten helmets. We continue to regress as the season progresses. This is alarming. Next year is not looking any better. We are not...

Re: Wave loses the clown show 27-23

Dear TD, if you’re reading our forums, you can take your seat license bulleh*t and shove it straight up your ass. I will no longer support TU athletics until you can show me that we can win at something, anything.. Speaking of TD....what the hell has this guy done. Tulane athletics is a complete em...

1.5 million through 2024
1.5 million is nothing in CFB. It might hurt Tulane more to NOT buy that out.
Very true.

Re: SMU GameDay Thread

And Banks fumbles the game away, AGAIN. What a loser. No offense at all today. Our Banks-led offense points per quarter probably below 6 now. There is now no reason to play any of our seniors—most of them probably won’t care if they don’t see the field again.

Re: SMU Score Prediction

What I don’t get is most of you predicted that we will win about 6 games. But with exception of OSU, you pick Tulane to win. I checked the thread where we made our preseason W-L predictions and everyone who detailed their wins and losses predicted a win over SMU. What's not to get? With this Tulane...

Watching that interview. That’s not the same Willie fritz that arrived here. He looks and sounds defeated. Kinda awkward to watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKJxBkegsUI After watching that, I better understand our team's lack of energy and enthusiasm during the games. Really quite depressing!...

Re: Line Opens Tulane 7 pts. > SMU

I'd lay the points! I still think we get our way to 6 wins, maybe 7, but giving a TD to ANY d1 opponent is too many points IMHO. We're not that good. D, I hope you're right. Unfortunately it would be very Tulanish for us to soil the bedsheets on one of the three remaining home games for which we wi...

Re: Potential head football coach candidates search

Offensively, does anyone know what Fritz is trying to evolve to? In his third year, we don’t have the OL we need, we don’t have the QB we need, and we don’t have the WRs we need, if Fritz could suddenly snap his fingers and have everything he needs, what would it be? What offense would we be runnin...

Did ya know.... that just minutes before Don Larsen walked out of the Yankees clubhouse to start warming up for Game 5 of the 1956 World Series (against the Brooklyn Dodgers), when he went on to pitch the only perfect game in World Series history, his wife telephoned him to tell him she was leaving ...

Dickson had failures but fund raising was not one of them. He saved athletics in 2003 and raised $100 million in two years to build Yulman. Not sure what Dannen has done outside of bringing back a 1960’s Angry Wave character. All his coaching hires have been losers. His seat license idea shows his ...
