Re: Melvin Frazier now projected 1st round pick

Going to Atlanta 1st Round. https://www.seccountry.com/sec/nba-mock-draft-2018-first-round-picks-projections-2018-nba-draft-2-12 Actually, there's 3 different mock drafts in that article, and only one has Frazier in the first round. If he's not a clear first rounder, he needs to come back. Yes. But...

Re: Melvin Frazier now projected 1st round pick

It's been 20 years since a Tulane basketball player had any sort of draft buzz. Jerald Honeycutt would've been a surefire lottery pick today being a stretch 4 that can shoot 3s. He would've been a 1-and-done player. Frazier should do well in predraft camps and individual workouts. He's a great athl...

Re: ECU humiliates Tulane 82-80

Williams of ECU shooting light ou and Frzazier with limited minutes or did not play (could not watch or listen to game), was the tale of the tape. Hope th teams can bring it to the Tigers this Sunday. Williams was hot but most of his shots were open looks. Frazier still playing less than 100%. If U...

I’m not expecting that team to be good either

I’m hopeful but not expecting post season either. We may pitch better but we didn't replace the HR power we lost so we’ll score a lot less runs this year.

Winwave is correct. As a sports fan in general I like to attend sports events when possible. I usually attend St Paul’s high school football games on Friday nights. The stadium is perfect for high school and is less than 2 minutes from my house. Tickets are $8 and you can sit anywhere and have a gr...

Re: Tulane not alone in attendance woes

And just think, our illegitimate Country Cousins up the river at LSWho have just expanded their capacity to 102,321 and of LSWho's eight "home games" for 2018 three are against SLU, La. Tech & Rice (They play Miami @ Dallas for a "home game"). So, since they have about 74,00...

Tulane not alone in attendance woes

College FB suffers it’s largest attendance drop in 34 years. Smaller stadiums and nice clubs are now the new talk for solutions. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/college-football-heads-in-wrong-direction-with-largest-attendance-drop-in-34-years/ One Power Five source suggested the NFL...

Agree. Though I would note 2 are at home and one on road.

I usually make a road game or two. So that makes traveling to UH more unlikely.

Re: Houston Launches the Wave 73-42

Perry did recruit well but most of his players would have been 3 star guys. In the early years Perry had a great cast of assistants. A lot of that 3 star talent ended up performing like 4 stars. Not sure. I do know we had the 8th rated recruiting class in the country one year. Honeycutt, Allen, Chi...

Re: Houston Launches the Wave 73-42

I must admit I drank the Green Kool-Aid. Very disappointed in the recent downturn that has occurred. I thought we’d win 7 to 8 conference games but that appears unlikely at this point. I agree that ultimately Dunleavy is going to have to recruit 4 star players like Perry did to have the success we a...

Re: Houston Game 2Thread

Lethargic play and Frazier et Embo dealing wih pain issues = blowout loss. Yes. Just looking at Frazier’s facial expressions you could see the pain he’s playing in. Bruised chest or broken rib are extremely painful. We had no energy. No legs which affected our shooting. The Tulsa loss carried right...

Re: Houston Game 2Thread

We shot 26% they shot 50%. Not counting our missed FT’s. So that alone would mean a double in rebounds in a normal condition. Just bad all around today.
