Re: Tulane 21 - Army 17

Pass was on the RB's back hip which allowed their LB to stop him. If it hits him in stride we win. on his hip and slightly behind....the play happened going into the north end zone on the right hash mark....if memory serves the RB was Russell Huber....The LB for LSU might have been Mike Anderson, b...

Interesting stat. First time since 1961 against Vandy has Tulane not allowed a completed pass in a game.

Re: Tulane 21 - Army 17

I had us winning by 4. Glad it held up. A couple of things. We are now out coaching our opponents. WF has a great feel for the game. That’s something that you either have or you don’t. He could see that to win we had to go the distance and get a TD, a FG attempt wasn’t going to do it. We couldn’t st...

Wonder if Tulane follows. https://trib.al/07XOrb1 Brown University plans to eliminate student loans from financial aid packages and replace them with grants that students do not have to pay back. Stanford is now tuition free for all students from families with annual income of less than $124,000 a ...

Sorry to get off topic but Coach O is now 0-13 as a head coach in SEC road games. So he’d Owned his “O” Not to be too nit picky, Tim, but didn't Coach O coach the Tiggers last November? I may be mistaken, but I believe that the Tiggers beat Arkansas and Texas A&M on the road that month. Yes but...

Nebraska fires it’s AD. Pressure on to win over there. I wonder how LSU’s Alleva stays employed.

Re: Army Game Thread

Any word on Sean Wilson? Sean Wilson playing injured. or withheld from playing will have an enormous negative effect on the entire defense. If I were laying money on this game without Sean Wilson. I'd take Army. Even if Wilson isn't 100% Army is a lot more banged up than we are (missing left tackle...

Its "getting" to the red zone that's the bigger problem.

Yep. Something of a misleading stat.
But we are efficient when we do“get” there. 8-)
