Re: USF Game Day Thread

To be honest, USF hasn't been happy with their attendance either. And its starting to spread. This was recently. #8 TCU at home vs West Virginia, WITH College GameDay at the stadium: [tweet] https://twitter.com/C_Austin_Cox/status/916788268796170240[/tweet] USF has been getting just over 20K to the...

Re: USF Game Day Thread

Shame on Tulane for putting such a putrid product on the field for close to 70 years now. Then for trying to gouge what few fans it has left that are willing to still go to the games. WinWave, as a member of the Fan Advisory Committee you really need to tell them we need to completely rethink the G...

Re: USF Game Day Thread

The TD that was called back on the pass to Hillard was terrible. They called us for an illegal man down field. Our center was holding his block. Even the announcers called BS on that one. And the flag they picked up on the offsides was bad. Contact was made so something has to be called.

Re: Line Opens Memphis 10.5 pts. > Tulane – The Spread Thread

I really don't like these Thurs and Fri games for conference games. Once again, we get the short end. Would it be asking too much to make sure that both teams in a Thurs or Fri game played on Sat the week before? We get six days to prepare, Memphis gets 8, because they played on Thursday, and we're...

Re: USF Game Day Thread

Thought this was interesting https://twitter.com/usfcollin/status/921846857902559232 Yulman Stadium seems the platonic ideal of what USF stadium should look like. Bulls would need more chairbacks & amenities, but it's great. They're looking to spend between $150M and $220M on it, so I assume a ...

Re: USF Game Day Thread

The best team won. The game’s final score didn’t indicate the true picture of the game. Tulane had way too many penalties. Still struggles with defending the pass. I’m usually not a complainer about the officials but they were horrible. I watched the replay and even the announcers said the same. I ...

Re: USF Game Day Thread

This is a winnable game IMO. I just don’t think we’re there yet. USF has more talent at this point. We’d need a score on defense or special teams to have a shot at the upset.

Re: Arkansas State 47, ULaLa 3

Tough night for Hudspeth and the University of Louisiana-Lafayette squad. LOL That’s a case where a coach missed his chance to continue moving up in his career path. He’s stayed too long at ULL. I was thinking the same thing myself, tps. With a downturn in his success at a mid-major, I doubt any P5...

Re: Tulane playing LSU

Lurker thanks but this is where you are too much of an apologist. It's Halloween and that's a celebration in this town. Like I said I hope they end up packing the place but I doubt it. It would be great if they moved it up a night to the 30th. Yep. Try telling a little girl she can’t trick or treat...

They have scrimmaged each other quite a bit in the past it’s time to play for real again. LSU plays Houston all the time and Memphis occasionally no reason they can’t play us.

Re: FIU wins 23-10

Tulane's Secondary was suppose to be the Highlight of the D...seems like everyone can throw on it....whaaa happened ? They rarely see passes in practice. They are always defending the run. So come game time they are not as prepared to defend against it. When we had a pass oriented offense our pass ...
