I thought you guys might enjoy reading the great summary in this morning’s Athletic of the college baseball series played over the weekend. You know the one that used to include the outstanding results and players’ performances of Tulane’s. For some reason I don’t see any mention of us anymore. Or e...

Re: Hunter sez's
Of course, the trip to China forced him to play his top guys the whole game all year even in the pitiful OOC games. Is it any wonder they couldn’t finish games in conference? I have never seen a worse plan to win a NCAA bid than the Hunter plan. 1. Play stars until they drop 2. Play a zone D that gi...

Re: Fogelman question
It’s time to face reality. The Tulane administration couldn’t care less about basketball or baseball. Their actions have spoken very clearly. Too bad because that situation may have cost a berth in a better conference.

118 pitches this early in season. Heading for arm injury sooner than later.
How is the Jesuit ace we signed last year doing so far? He threw a lot of pitches last year.

Forbes ejected for flagrant foul Will miss first tournament game.
Now reviewing Cross for a flagrant foul. This undisciplined play by his 2 best players is the Requiem Mass for Hunter.

+1, and beginning with Dannen’s a-hole decision for saying “no” to Andy Cannizaro in 2016, the baseball equivalent of Hindman Wall saying “no” to Lindy Infante in 1980 & Cowen saying “no” to RichRod in 1998 for head football coach. Dannen was a big zero 🥚 for Wave baseball; we live with the con...

Re: UC-Irvine Sweeps Tulane
The changing of the transfer and scholarship rules about 10 years ago doomed Tulane just as I opined at the time. The irony is that they changed the transfer rule so that players had to sit out a year. Most years before that Jones built his pitching staffs around pitchers he could get from big scho...

Re: Chip Kelly Leaves UCLA
He had been interviewing for many NFL positions as well. Perhaps he thought he was gonna get fired. Kelly and the school mutually agreed it would be better for him to go elsewhere and weirdly not for results. He turned people off in the athletic dept and hating recruiting. UCLA evidently does not h...

Guys, some of us are talking out of both sides of our mouth discrediting the recruiting services’ rankings giving P5 schools recruits higher star ratings while gushing over our signees noting their P5 offers. We all know those services talk to the P5 schools and base their star ratings on who’s recr...

On a 10 yard crossing pattern he threw a duck which almost hit the ground. I guess the Oregon fans like those ducks.RobertM320 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 8:25 pm Or you could say he threw it where only the receiver could catch it. All depends on your perspective.

Bo Nix is having a rough time at the Senior Bowl, Not a good reflection that Thomson did not have a run to beat Nix out at Oregon!!! Mike Giardi @MikeGiardi Bo Nix had a rough four-play stretch during team - a dropped snap, missed a pair of open receivers (Barner on skinny, Corley on short stop bet...

Then does it again with 10 seconds left. Does Hunter coach at all during a game. I’ve never seen worse end of game decision my life.
