Re: Houston GameDay Thread

DEs and OLBs really have a hard time selecting the edge.

Encalade to the house!

Re: Another QB commit.....

Looks like a LH clone of Banks with slightly better speed and slightly weaker arm. Most of the throws in the video were long high lobs.

Re: Wave win Battle of the Bottom Bowl II 31-24

It’s Tulane’s fault that the coverage is so bad. There is almost zero demand for Tulane athletic news, plain and simple.

Re: Miss State Baseball Recruiting

Because or tuition constraints, Tulane has smaller recruting classes and if we give full scollies to 2 or 3 pitchers, then they sign pro, it kills a recruiting class. MSU can sign and take walk one all day long. Apples and Oranges comparing the two.

Re: Miss State Baseball Recruiting

Recruiting for MSU and recruiting for Tulane are two different animals. I hope everyone realizes that there is probably not one of their recruits whose parents would be interested in paying 2/3 Tulane tuition. So had they come to Tulane their pool of recruits would have been drastically different. I...

Re: Next year will be worse

When you ask how the pipeline dried up, I am inclined to ask how did we get that many good ones over that 5 year period. I posted many a thread for years and years that I rated each Tulane recruiting class by their recruitment of good sized and skilled Defensive linemen. Between the days of Charlie ...

Nice jinx MBA! You actually were correct, but it doesn't take much to jinx Tulane football.

ECU in doubt as well.

Re: Potential FB coaching candidates 2018

Program in big time trouble, for this reason. After reading the article a couple of weeks ago about why Fritz jumped on the Tulane job, it felt like the Toledo situation again. He basically said, I am 56 years old without a long term contract at Georgia Southen, so I took the higher paying job for m...

Continues to play like a kid with talent who has had very little coaching and not enough reps in a good program. Looks like a freshman with really good potential every time out.

Re: Tulane crushed by Memphis 56-26

I have no doubt that whatever conference we are in from Sunbelt to SEC, we would find the bottom. The realization that the Tulane administration has never and will never commit to a good athletic program is pretty slow in coming to some of you even after 60 years of pretty clear evidence.

Re: We don't want Kendal Briles...

WF is not going anywhere...he is year two, with one recruiting class...the offense now in place is not the one he wants to run, but he knows how bad we are on defense and is trying to keep them off the field as much as possible...I think by year 4 we will see an offense much like he had at Sam Hous...

Look at our offense and try to imagine it simulating this Memphis offense. You can see how unprepared that would make the defense to defend Memphis.

Re: Memphis GameDay Thread

This offense is a joke and doesn’t prepare a defense to face good offenses. Combine that with diminishing recruiting under this staff and I dare say this coaching regime looks like another unmitigated disaster.

No way to prepare a defense to face a competent passing offense when you run the offense we run. And we’re in a conference with a lot of passing teams.
