Maybe he and family can get through this and he could one day return to Tulane as an assistant.

I believe last year it took a few weeks just to win 3 games. Great start to the season. A tough weekend ahead in Oxford.

Solid performances all 3 games.

Re: Signing Day Thread 2018

I love this class especially on the defensive side. We really loaded up with talent on the D-line and secondary. The only negative for this recruiting cycle was the Lindsey Scott drama. Imagine what kind of team we can have with three consecutive recruiting classes of at least this caliber. I also ...

Re: Embarrassing Home Loss to USF

Just a few observations: We were not prepared mentally nor emotionally for this game. The scene before the game in the locker room looked like city park stadium. I hope we are not bringing recruits to see the gym or the team play. We have a NBA coach who's team plays like the Pels.

I agree, his choice. And, we got played, so what?[/quote] Not sure how we got played? One, the guy didn't even have us on his final 2 before he signed with LSU. Since then he had 1 P5 offer, Kansas. Not exactly the hotbed of football. He's looking for a decent P5 school. Tulane is his fallback if Mi...

Re: Houston Game Thread

In response to Frazier’s ejection, I’m pretty positive I saw Cornish walk over to Dunleavy and tell him to get Frazier out the game after the 1st technical. I thought the game was very well coached, but in high school and college you need to get a guy who gets a technical out the game for awhile if...

Frazier having a horrible night. Very disappointed that Frazier continued to run his mouth and suffered the ejection. That could have lost the game. In any case, GREAT WIN and ROLL WAVE! Re: Lindsey Scott commits to LSU now transferring to EMCC

This is how big boy recruiting goes. If we want to compete for players against the P5, this is the process. The coaches know this. The fans need to get off their high horses.

Re: Down The Stretch

I'm glad that we are in the running for a player of his rating. He just may not know where he wants to go. As many hits Banks took last year, it would be great having 2 solid QB's at the most important position. I trust the judgement of the staff when it comes to talent evaluation.

Re: UCF

They had a great season. We'll never know if they would have been undefeated playing in a P5. If they were in say the SEC East, they would possibly get Ga., Fla, SC, and maybe Bama or LSU from the west in consecutive weeks. Far harder to win out with that type of schedule than the one they faced. S...

When I saw that Wofford beat UNC, I knew this thread would be back. The chronic complainers didn't have much to say yesterday on FB signing day so this was an obvious landing spot. If somebody else could beat UNC, Tulane is horrible if they didn't do it. Yeah, yeah we all know the routine. Wofford ...

Re: UNC Game Thread

Wofford went into the Dean Dome and shocked UNC last night. They had a losing record last year. They were about the same underdog we were {25.5 pts). This IS NOT to say we should have expected a similar result and won. But to expect that we be competitive IS NOT asking too much in year 2 of MD. Wof...
