Re: Pepperdine Series Thread

We are competitive, we could not say that last year. We have no seniors either. Brighter times I believe are ahead.

Re: ULL Series

Extremely well pitched game by both starters. The lack of a D-1 catcher is hurting us in the field. It also might be time to sit Banks a game or two.

Two evenly matched teams, both games could have gone either way.

Houma de Wave wrote: Fri Mar 08, 2024 11:05 pm Despite the 8 runs, our pitching (Fladda-Shuffler-Moore) was good. Errors cost us early on. UL helped us later with a couple of late errors by their SS. All in all, we earned this win.
If we can clean up things defensively, this a pretty decent club so far.

Re: Tulane Beats Grambling 9-4

The umpiring left a lot to be desired. Grambling SP could have been charged with at least 5 balks and they were very bad with fundamental baseball. We looked tired and I agree it was good to see some of the bench players get time and play well. A hard game to watch. Also, we need a new Play by play ...

No reason to drop a sport because we are not good at it. If that were the case we should have dropped football years ago. Might as well drop basketball.

Tough typical series against West Coast competition. Hopefully the bats will continue to improve, and we can find the right combinations on the mound.

I have no idea how many games we will win, but we are a different team.
No question. If we just get Banks to find his groove, we will really get it into gear. UCI's starter has really good stuff.

Honestly, we do not know if NW is good or bad. I still think we will see some roster moves with pitching.

Banks hit a missile today that was barely foul.

Oh you bet your ass there is a depth chart. It may not be released to the public. The days of seniority are over. It's all about NIL money for starters. I do believe you will see some movement once spring ball comes around. Especially with injuries and workout attendance. It's all a motivational tac...
