Memphis has 11 Louisiana players on their roster and their fans traditionally travel well . Will feel like a home game for the Tigers.

Memphis 55-15.
but can they take off work on Friday for the festivities
Holy Cross/Jesuit will draw more fans.

Re: Ohio St. GameDay Thread

Bowden never had to worry about saying stuff like that. He only had to worry about beating teams like USM and Louisville.
I get the point but he did play 3 top 25 teams in his first year and he sure wasn't sugar quoting it after those losses. I don't blame the AD or the HC. Gibson Hall is b...

Re: Ohio St. Game Thread

I am watching the LA Tech vs LSU game and am very impressed by the job Skip Holtz is doing as Tech’s head coach. I like Tech’s offense and their play calling so far in the first half. I wish Holtz was Tulane’s head coach. Tech has better players and better coached players. And most of all their uni...

The problem is those type of coaches now see this job as a coach killer rather than as a stepping stone. When they come and see the lack of facilities they see they have no chance.

Agree 100%. I'm convinced Nick Saban could not win here.

Re: UAB GameDay Thread

The sky isn't falling. We lost to a team that is our equal, and in a conference we should be better than but are not at this point. Put this Tulane team in C-USA and we're no better than middle of the pack.
I'm not sure we would win the Southland! But hey we could always blame baseball. Guy...

Re: UAB GameDay Thread

The comments by TU FBall athletes pre game r unacceptable considering the results. So who is accountable? I will answer, no one....ever. Just give up and plow that $20mm deficit back into the university. It’s over. My late father recommended that 20 years ago. But I'm afraid we would still be terri...

The University has done so much to run fans away(including me) I'm not sure if we will ever be a major player in Div1 athletics.

He played on our 1973 team and has passed away. He was a great player , a great detective and a great man. May he rest in a well deserved peace.
I was 7 years old when John & I were pen pals. Super nice guy who left a lasting impression on what a Tulane athlete was.

Re: Wake Forest wins in OT 23-17

If you want to go bowling, you have to win these kinds of games. We have no room for error (See last season). Hats off to the defense for being on the field the entire 1st half and only giving up 7 points. The DC's hands were tied with running the defense out there time and time again. That, plus th...

Banks sucks. Fritz coaching suspect. Pathetic fan turnout. All in all, same ole.
How many times does Banks have to hit his receivers on the hands for them to make a reception?
2 big drops. The rest were poor throws.

Re: Wake Forest Game Day Thread

Defense was gassed at the end of the 1st half due to the offense, or lack of. The problem is I don't think it can be fixed with the current personnel. Will probably see a lot of defensive rotation in the second half and the timeouts will be used by the defense. Wake really only has advantage at QB &...

He could take 1 grad class. It wouldn't cost him too much.

My Tiger friends are about to go the mattresses with the latest QB transfers.

Narcisse & Scott, 2 guys who could be starting for us right now.

Maybe from a scheduling standpoint. I just hope we are are on the road when they play at the Dome.
