Re: Andy Cannizaro

Gee just heard this. Congrats to Mr Andy Cannizaro. Smart hire by Mississippi St athletic director. Cannizaro will succeed because he's an exceptional person both on and off the field. How Tulane blew hiring him is beyond my imagination. Jewett better deliver for Dannen's sake because quite a numbe...

Re: Andy Cannizaro

If we weren’t supposed to beat Wright St then we must not be favored to win more than 25 games. Winning the Horizon League doesn’t make them a good team. They have won games in the NCAA Regionals, it makes no difference what conference they are in.... The 2018 Wright State team has won 0 games. Reg...

Re: Ole Miss Series

.obviously we would all like to "take" the Ole Miss series..I personally am not putting too much into these 3 games, I think Tulane is still learning who can do what and this team will be far different, for better or worse, 4 weeks from now ...if this series was in late March, I would view...

Re: Tulane not alone in attendance woes

College FB suffers it’s largest attendance drop in 34 years. Smaller stadiums and nice clubs are now the new talk for solutions. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/college-football-heads-in-wrong-direction-with-largest-attendance-drop-in-34-years/ One Power Five source suggested the NF...

Re: Tulane and Notre Dame

Well, if we had played them in 2012 and/or 2013 I can guarantee Notre Dame would not have won the game(s). Link: Notre Dame players caught cheating...Kelly says 'It has noting to do with me'.. c'mon...a few 'hail mary's' (not the pass) and all will be forgiven...that and 5,000.00 dollars

In my opinion the UAB game is very important...don't get me wrong, they are all important, but Tulane needs to go on the road and not just win, but WIN...leaving no doubts who is better

Re: Houston Game 2Thread

Announcers just said “from the bayou city in Houston.” Bayou City? I believe Space city is official nickname but bayou city is nearly as popular. If you watched any hurricane Harvey coverage you'd probably figure out why the city has that nickname. On the hoops side of this game, no other word need...

H-Town bill's itself as the "Bayou City"..."Buffalo Bayou" flows close to downtown...it actually looks more like the drainage canal on Vet's Blvd in Metry

Damien Tate, kid from New Orleans that Fritz has raved about, tweeted today that he is taking the ACT. That would lead me to believe that he is not yet academically qualified. Hope it goes well. It’s tough even getting PWO’s in school. They have to compete for a spot against the regular student bod...

Nice article from Waco Tribune referencing signee Tyrick James, TE from China Spring. Seems he's got some speed, because although he played TE, he actually had 90 carries.
