Re: Wonder What They're Saying Now

I was there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was also at Ladd Memorial Statium when the Wave defeated Alabama in 1949, our last SEC Championship year. I hope that Rufus Harris does no suffer in Hell, but at least he belongs in Purgatory. And Hindman Wall for getting us out of the SEC. How many times can a Unive...

Re: SMU Score Prediction Thread

I'm buying. SMU is not the team everyone thought. Tulane is trending up and feeling confident. I look for a monster day from Hilliard and limited opportunities for SMUs passing game. Fritz's MO will payoff Saturday Tulane 38 Smu 20 will this be the same "confident team" that played FIU ?....

Re: Wonder What They're Saying Now

Tps, that video is incredible. My father was at that game. One of the greatest nights of his life he always said. The priest for his funeral this past February talked about that game in his homily . The priest was there as a tiger fan. He said he still hasn't gotten over it. What a time to be alive...

Re: Tanner Lee

Interesting decision coming up for Lee. He’ll get drafted and playing on Sunday’s still in the cards IMO. He’s showed potential for greatness and the NFL can see it. He should get an agent after next week. Ya mean good ole Colin Kaepernick can't get a job, but Tanner "INT" Lee can ?!?!?.....

Re: Baby Isla helps Wave whip Houston 20-17

Excellent points. I guess we will always have those fans who would rather turn their noses up at a 6-6 Tulane team the Mackenzie's Bowl, but sit another year at home in December and watch a 6-6 LSU team in the Belk Bowl. No matter if it's a 6-6 Tulane team in the Mackenzie's Buttermilk Drop Bowl or...

Re: Houston GameDay Thread

Congrats to Tulane. Good luck the rest of the way. Too bad we can't fire our incompetent head coach and his staff. Very unacceptable performance this season. I have to admit, I was shocked the DC did not get the Houston HC job, he is doing one hell of a job at Texas Then you weren't watching Housto...

Re: Tulane crushes Colorado State 80-53

I didn’t see the CSU game, but I heard that we primarily ran a four guard offense—is that true? As far as poor 1H offensive performances, such as CSU demonstrated, the worse 1H offensive performance I ever saw was a Marquette vs Tulane game in the Superdome, if I remember correctly it was Marquette...

Re: Houston Score Prediction Thread

It doesn't seem like Tulane's offense has gotten on track all year. When the game is close Tulane's offense depends on Banks or Hilliard finding daylight, otherwise they're going nowhere. The talent gap will be noticeable in this game. Houston 45 Tulane 20 UH 45 Tulane 21 I see how you "price-...

Re: Tulane crushes Colorado State 80-53

The AAC is having a very bad day. ECU is losing to CCSU. Tulsa is about to slip to 2-2. Houston laid an egg at home. The top of the conference (Temple, SMU, Cincy, WSU, UConn, and maaaybe Memphis) will be very good - but there are landmines everywhere. Disagree that we had a bad day. Conferences ar...

Re: Another QB commit.....

I was a ball boy for the Saints off and on as a kid. I did a season when Bobby Douglass was playing (lefty) QB. All of the receivers hated the way the ball came off of his hand. The ball would tail off opposite of what Archie threw. His handoffs were given left handed and so that needed adjusting f...
