He would sing the Alma Mater at football games in a voice so sweet and strong that it would bring tears to my eyes. RIP.

No QBs that had ever thrown an NCAA pass. Virtually no receiving corps. Looked barren to me.

Re: Fritz offense

I thought we just played the number two team in America. <sarcasm> It's a good thing that Tulane didn't play the Patriots yesterday. That would really have exposed Fritz as a terrible coach and proven to the world how bad his offensive scheme is for Tulane. </sarcasm>

Re: Fritz offense

Military academies run option because you don't need p5 linemen that you can't get anyway. Linemen he had didn't fit what he wants to run. Spread option offenses are the same. Memphis can't get p5 linemen either. If fritz can't get it together ( I still think he will) the next guy will have most of...

Tickets and Parking Pass for Army Game

I'm forced to miss the Army game because I'll be out of town all week (wedding). This is my first missed game at Yulman and I'm pretty bummed. Shame on any of you who let your daughters schedule a wedding on Saturday during football season. Tickets are on the west side 48 yard line (section 121). Pa...

I must be listening to the wrong game. I just heard something about a fumble recovery and then a long ground gainer that should have been a TD except for a lone defender.

looks like I might be able to get the game after all on firstrowsports I like firstrowsports but Finding those hidden little Xs to close them pop up ads is a pain. At least it's free though. Yes, its a pain. But FREE is the most important part of that. :) Not getting firstrow to take any of my debi...

Re: Oklahoma Score Prediction Thread

If Banks is capable of playing and we have a passing game: OU: 49 TU: 17 ...and that's with a halftime score of 14-7 (OU). Our defense performs well up to the point of exhaustion. If we are reduced to a run-only offense: OU: 49 TU: 8 (two-point conversion because....well, just because)

Biggest upset ever I'd like some of what Ruski's having. I believe that anytime a competitor is grossly outclassed, the margin of defeat is extremely important. Playing a close, competitive game would affect future recruiting. It would greatly affect team confidence and morale. It would impact fan ...

Considering all first half mistakes, none are more painful and unforgivable than the missed PAT. Why do we have such trouble with executing a play that is automatic for everyone?

Re: Navy GameDay Thread

I can't recall being more excited in anticipation of a game. It's a good feeling when your team becomes a credible opponent for an established and storied program such as Navy. Regardless of the final outcome, I hope we land the first punch, bloody their faces during the game, and make them leave th...

Can't you buy great seats on the short side of the stadium without paying a seat license fee? We did in 2014. If you are referring to the west (press box) side, I sit in 121 and pay a $500 donation. I have really enjoyed my seating location except now that many season ticket holders are giving up t...

Re: Winning Does

Sader's right in the sense that Tulane appears to be charging too much for donations considering that the stadium has only sold out once since 2014. It's unclear whether the attendance of the Grambling game was primarily the result of LSU being in town or whether it was primarily due to the all of ...

Re: Players returning from injury..

Tech hung 655 yards in offense on a Tennesse team that physically out classed them. Untimely turnovers and poor placekicking decided that game. With millions upon millions of dollars spent on coaching, the bone is still a mystery for many coaching staffs. For me, this is what makes college football...
