Re: Yulman Stadium (Benson Field)

I don't think the megaphone looks bad at all. It's part of the historic "Angry Wave" logo. I'd rather he be carrying a football, but it's really not a big deal. I wonder if our getting away from the Crested T is trying to not be identified with Trump? It has absolutely nothing to do w/Trump and eve...

Bums on the Tulane football team

Tulane football players. Can't figure out how to win a ball game and earn their scholarships to save their lives but have the time to go be a bunch of punks. All of the bums who participated in this should be arrested and kicked off the team and out of school. I doubt Tulane has the b@lls. Enjoy roo...

Funny. You don't even have the guts to spew on the internet without a pseudonym. Got something against people with Indian heritage, puddle? No wonder I come to this board maybe once a month.

Re: The SKY is FALLING

This governor is high comedy. He's threatening the state legislature( and college football fans) with high explosives and trying to blame Jindal. Louisiana's credit rating was upgraded twice under Jindal, from A+ to AA. Defending Jindal is high comedy. Talk about political bias. Pot, meet kettle.

Re: The SKY is FALLING

So let me ask you this, how did we get to the point of a $960 million budget shortfall? It certainly wasn't Edward's doing since he just got into office... Piyush supporters just ignore the fact that this mess wasn't just created yesterday. Anyways , back to the point of LSU facing possible shutdow...

(Jesuit and BM are 130+ years old) You must be thinking of Jesuit and Holy Cross. BM is Cor Jesu, established 1954, with a name change and same location. St. Aloysius closed. The Catholic League has 1 football state championship in the last 20 years and it was this year with Rummel and it only happ...

Unfortunate for the young man?????? He chose to commit these crimes, screw him. Unfortunate and ugly pub for Tulane, yes. Of course this is much more unfortunate for the victims and society in general, but if he were your son or my son, we would certainly view this as a tragic and unfortunate turn ...

Re: Ivan Maisel Addresses Tulane

JTL, did not say to not be concerned with results. You missed the point. The P5 Conferences schools have fan bases who attend games because they are fans, irrespective of the record or the opponent. The AAC, including Tulane, does not. Maisel is saying the AAC will remain "G" until AAC teams are we...

Re: Ivan Maisel Addresses Tulane

"They need support that isn't tied to results and the opponents on the field." That's about as idiotic a statement as I've seen. You didn't link the article so maybe I'm missing the proper context. What kind of imbecile supports anything with absolutely no concern for results? Even the Cowenistas wh...

Fifty seven pages on Lee on this thread. Are we crazy? Nothing personal but this is the first of your posts that I am on board with 100%. There's another thread on him as well. Almost 1,500 posts over a three year period discussing what has been a non-event college quarterback. You often use the ph...

Who can remember those days from early 90's in Fogelman. If we ran that promotion today we may have to lower the point goal to 60.
Yep. That's when I was on campus at the Freeman School.

Re: Scott Cowen 5th highest paid President in America

Apparently none of the athletics changes were good enough for jj Come on JD. We get a new AD and a new coach and we are all supposed to pretend that the last decade and a half didn't happen? I would characterize what Cowen CONTINUES to do to Tulane as a rape but if it's done with Tulane's consent, ...

Re: Scott Cowen 5th highest paid President in America

Incredible. Let's see, in his 18 years he; (1) didn't build the endowment one iota, (2) hid annual deficits in our operating budget, (3) took our academic standing from the mid-30's to low 50's, (4) took our #7 football program and nearly destroyed it, (5) led our other major athletic programs into...

Y'all seem to be forgetting that we tried offering the job to a number of others first. We gave CJ the job because no one else would take it. "Lets show Fritz/Dannen love" Why? How about Tulane show us some "love" instead of showing us the finger which is pretty much all they're good at? I'm happy that we appear to have a course change. I'll wait for some actual results. Tulane deserves nothing more. In fact, Tulane deserves nothing perio...

I hope and imagine WF and TD discussed this issue [JC's] and agree on the guidelines. The policies and guidelines for admitting JUCOs are not determined between Coach and AD. That's a Fitz level thing. It wouldn't qualify as one of Goldring's "inherent challenges." JUCO admission policy is up to th...

Re: Tulane Athletics Vision

GW had credibility? Don't you go to his forum and play by his "rules"? You give him more than credibility. GW is not JtS. Unless you have evidence of that, which you should share. Otherwise, these accusations get really lame. He's not? Says who? This is a social media forum, not a court of law. Let...
