Re: Tulane 21 - Army 17

Just got back from the game. First and foremost, the heat was BRUTAL. NCAA has all kinds of rules to protect players, well one of them should be no daytime games at Yulman in September. I don't give a crap what the networks say. I think OUG pretty much summed it up. Banks was still hurting coming i...

Re: Tulane 21 - Army 17

Our boys fought tooth and nail today. Banks earned so much credit in my book especially after taking such a hard hit on that 4th down scramble. Great win, roll damn wave!

That flyover was awesome, and even better one of the pilots was a TU grad.

Re: Army Game Thread

Not that it proves anything, yet, but the major omission of the WF discussion is that, unlike his predecessors, he has won as head coach at every previous gig. Again, nothing is proven but it should be noted. You are absolutely correct. This is exactly why I thought we would have at least seen a fe...

Re: Commit #6 Amare Jones

A couple of clips of commit Amare Jones of TX on Twitter from tonights game. https://twitter.com/jones1906/status/911053601077940224 https://twitter.com/jones1906/status/911043331634974721 Now we know why coach wants to possibly play him at RB. Mr. Jones loves running those inside zone run plays. I...

Re: Army Game Thread

Any word on Sean Wilson? Sean Wilson playing injured. or withheld from playing will have an enormous negative effect on the entire defense. If I were laying money on this game without Sean Wilson. I'd take Army. Even if Wilson isn't 100% Army is a lot more banged up than we are (missing left tackle...

Re: Army Game Thread

I'm really sick of people who watched 4 years of what CJ did to this program and yet still believe it can be completely turned around in 15 games. Can you imagine what we would have looked like Saturday if CJ and Eric Price were still in charge? We'd have been looking at 77-0 or worse, no offense w...

Re: Things I hope for next week...

I hope certain people open their eyes and see that Army is better than Navy at this juncture. It's been a long time since anyone could say that and be taken seriously. This is not your Army team of the last 20-30 years. It's much better, and after a beating at Ohio State, much like we took at OU (t...

Re: Things I hope for next week...

Although not happy with the final score from last week, I didn't really expect us to be in as long as we were. Pleasantly surprised with that. Moving on to next week their are a few things I'll like to see for us to have the greatest chance to win. 1 Need Jonathan Banks back. Jonathan Brantley has ...

Re: Fritz offense

Or even the broken wing. Whatever works. And learn to fly again And learn to live so free........ On a serious note, Fritz has only had 1 full recruiting class. He has 1 of his recruits starting on our O-line. It will take at least another year for his lineman to get ready. Developing O-line and D-...

Re: Oklahoma 56 - Tulane 14

The box score from this weekend's game: Look away, it was not pretty. I would usually go into more detail with how players did, but it's just too much to post since OU stomped us. Baker Mayfield accounted for 4 passing tds before they put in their backup QB. Brantley threw a pick 6 and was pedestria...
