Re: UCF GOFUNDME Site to Investgate SEC

LOL

How does one 'investigate' 'elitism'?

LOL

Maybe UCF should investigate its AD and take the hint after twice running the table with little to show for it: Schedule -- and beat -- top-ranked teams.

Re: QB's of the past (favs, follies, wasted potential, etc.

Nickie Hall could flat-out throw, helped to have Robert Griffin and Rodney Holman on the other end. Hall spent some brief time on the Packers roster. Wade Elmore was overshadowed, but was a good guy.

With any luck, we won't have to wait another 16 years for the next bowl win!

I was impressed in the recent past at the substantial investment CF showed us that ULALA made to support its athletic programs.

A great moment, but part and parcel of the problem: TU supporters celebrating a game that isn't in the living memory of two generations of fans.

I don't know what's funnier-- posters calling for the hiring of disgraced has-been coaches/ unqualified letterman, or thinking they're the second coming of Bill Walsh when it comes to playcalling.

Re: Tulane coach burnout

Burned out? Must be the crushing accountability of an entire city's hopes and dreams going up in flames over Tulane football. I hear non-stop criticism from callers to sports talk radio. Any minute now the fans will assemble on the quad with torches and pitchforks, ready to march on the AD's house.

Wouldn’t take much effort to organize a boycott on buying Tulane season tickets until this nonsense is rescinded.

My senior year I went to every game except SMU away. Only the LSU fans gave us trouble.

The UAB game was far from the worst thing to happen in CFB Saturday. There are some big time programs in big time trouble.

Re: When do we make a change at QB ?

In the NFL, you can out-scheme other teams. Can't do that in college, you must have the talent. TU has nothing to lose in making a switch at QB.

Re: Wake Forest wins in OT 23-17

Just wanted to clear this up over some public comments by Mack. His memory is a little fuzzy. He didn't work out of a trailer. He worked out of the Ben Weiner building which was a two story metal building. Also, we had a 100 yard field or as golf would point out 12o yards plus some lagniappe beyond...
