Re: UC Irvine Game

Tied at the half 25-25. We got off to a great start and had total control inside. Barrett was looking good. Then we reverted and were getting killed inside and went cold. Finall regouped after giving up the lead and went back up only to end it tied. We need to give our starters a break or this isn’...

We play the third game of the day. It should start on time as there is a long gap between game two and our game. UCI is favored by 7.
Final scores from earlier games.

Re: Line Opens Wave 7.5 pts. > Navy

While not necessarily a rivalry game, for the Wave, this is the time of year when what should be easy-to-win games get really scary. Those with losing records often play with reckless abandon and for pride while those with the better record, and perhaps more games ahead of them, often play not to l...

Re: Navy vs Tulsa

Nothing is easy. Next Saturday's game with Navy will be no walk in the park. BTW, we're coming up on holiday season so if anyone is doing early shopping, I'm very fond of the jacket displayed in the gotula.net banner: http://www.veaches.net/Images/Tulane/HairShirt.jpeg P.S . Very few posts by me th...

And, with Troy & Appy State in the ‘Mighty Belt, it is very unlikely we will be seeing much of ULALA for future NOLA Bowls.
Perhaps, though I suspect you're just setting yourself up for more future heartache.

Re: Sun Belt Champion Headed to New Orleans Bowl

Its why ALL the G5s need to be pressing for more access, or file a class action lawsuit against the CFP and the NCAA. They've effectively told 5000 student athletes that "if you go to one of these 65 schools (G5), you're not allowed to have a chance to win a national championship". Even FCS, Div II...

Re: Sun Belt Champion Headed to New Orleans Bowl

First, you'd never beat Alabama. And yes, even with them on the schedule and beating them, an undefeated ULL team wouldn't make the Access Bowl. SOS is 90. Even Tulane has an SOS of 70. A 12-1 Tulane team, with a loss to Ohio State would still go to the Access Bowl before a 13-0 ULL team. So would ...

Re: Sun Belt Champion Headed to New Orleans Bowl

Your response makes no sense. What's contrary about it? Absolutely NOT. An undefeated Cajum team would NOT have had a shot at the CFP, AND would not have a shot at the NY6 game either. SOS kills you. The CFP rankings factor SOS heavily into their formula. If an undefeated UCF team can't make the CF...

Re: Sun Belt Champion Headed to New Orleans Bowl

So realistically, if U LA LA wins the the Sun Belt Conference championship game in future years the best bowl they can get to is the New Orleans bowl? And, I believe most of ULALA’s NOLA bowl results were “vacated” by NCAA infractions.
Yet another fail on your part.

Montana double pump 43:25 min mark. We were 3rd and 4 at their 17 yard line. Potential 14 point swing.

Re: WBB ULL falls to Dillard University 72-69

Softball is another story, at least for me. I enjoy watching those games. Our softball program is often ranked in the Top 20 and often hosts the some of the best teams in the country. And it's a fun sport to watch. Our fans seem to enjoy it plenty as I believe we average about 1500 paying fans per ...

Like it or not, games played between in-state and regional rivals make a difference to fans and imho, that's where the focus should be. There is no rivarly. Most Tulane fans don't give a sh,, about this game. It's just an easy game for a Tulane AD to schedule. Plus too much baggage from the ULL fan...

I'd rather we play them than UTSA or Texas State by a wide margin, Woody. ULaLa will fill the stadium. I wish we got the first home game of the two, or even a 2 for 1.
