Georgia let him go, we need to do what it takes to get him. Good fit, geographically from where he is now, and already recruits nationally. Some of that recruiting class will follow him. Very dynamic, approachable, calm, but tough. He would be a true "splash hire" would make national news.

Davie would be a very good hire. Changed the offense there that would accommodate the quality of athletes they were able to bring in. Tulane would actually give him the ability to attract better athletes, and the fact that he HC'd a major private university is huge (notre dame).

Specialist are not easy positions to recruit, and Cairo was an NFL quality kicker his last 2 years at least. Long field goals are not common at the college level. Cairo was rare and we may not see another like him for years. I agree, scratch the long attempts, and play for field position.

Our OOC games should be with schools like us, Duke, Wake, Vanderbilt, Rice, Northwestern, etc. (like us meaning - private or high academics).

Very good news. Wonder if we are doing anything as far as long snapping. This makes 4 specialist on scholarship in the fall, we will not be adding anymore. With the amount of revenue we would receive, maybe we should buy our way in, if necessary. The long term benefits and exposure would be worth the risk.

Sean Wilson started again, as we all know true freshman. May have the biggest upside of this class, definitely the most overlooked. He should be on a lot of "all freshman teams" at the end of season.
