Re: Andy Cannizaro

I would absolutely love it if we could see the skeletons in the closets of the few posters on here passing judgement on Andy Cannizaro. He made a mistake and he'll have to live with it forever, his just happen to be public. Just keep all the parties involved in your thoughts and prayers. I feel ter...

Re: Tulane and Notre Dame

Well, if we had played them in 2012 and/or 2013 I can guarantee Notre Dame would not have won the game(s). Link: Notre Dame players caught cheating...Kelly says 'It has noting to do with me'.. c'mon...a few 'hail mary's' (not the pass) and all will be forgiven...that and 5,000.00 dollars Actually, ...

Re: Early Signing Period 2018

Ben Tate https://twitter.com/pbr_louisiana/status/963503112345571329 So we're giving out scholarship offers three years from now? He's class of 2021. Who knows where we'll be by then? I would think that given he's the number one recruit in the state for the 2021 class, we'll probably still want him...

Re: 2018 Schedule

The opening four games should set the bar for the rest of the season. On one hand, it's great to get all of the OOC games first so that Tulane can get the kinks out, but on the other hand, not winning the majority of the OOC games would be an issue.

Re: Football Recruiting 2018

How Louisiana ranks for recruiting classes For 247: LSU 13; Tulane 66; La. Tech 76; La-Monroe 118; ULALA 126. For Rivals: LSU 13; Tulane 64; La. Tech 78; La - Monroe 99 ULALA (unranked, ranking stops at 100) Louisiana has more than enough football talent for 2 top 25 programs. That may be true, but...

Re: Tulane escapes ECU 71-69

For the big picture: Last year we were 3-15 in conference. This year we are 4-5 in conference with 9 conference games left to go. Thank you for a voice of sanity. If you told me before the season started that we had a shot at 9-9 or even 8-10 in conference, I would have signed on in a heartbeat. Th...

Re: Tanner Lee

Lee is not only A LOSER he is THE BIGGEST LOSER. Why was he even in Mobile ? NOT AN NFL PROSPECT https://sportsnaut.com/2018/01/winners-losers-2018-senior-bowl/ Because it's the Senior Bowl so high profile non-senior QBs aren't allowed to attend -and- Mason Rudolph was injured. Re: Junior Diaz Gone

Since 11:10 AM CST, the top three threads on this site are referencing players who are not part of Tulane Athletics (1 recently, 1 for a long time and 1 never). Isn't there something better to discuss? To be fair, 2/3 are either directly or indirectly related to how good Tulane will be in 2013. Dia...

Re: Junior Diaz Gone

Our last 2 coaches ran pro schemes. Tulane can't get the linemen. Need More read option, less triple. I think that's where we're headed. I think so as well, based on the QBs we're offering. Exactly. If Tulane ran a pro-style scheme, it could get solid QB players, but Tulane probably would not win e...

CFN is generally pretty terrible about catching mistakes/typos. For example, as of right now, it says that Tulane defeated SMU.

And now the 2018 Tulane team is now 1 injury to Banks away from missing bowl eligibility again, and the chances of an injury of that nature probably increased with Diaz leaving.

Re: Football Recruiting 2018

Anthony Lewis Jr, 6'4 225lb TE out of Mobile who was high on Tulane for a long while announced today he'll be heading to Troy. This is seriously confusing to me. Guy had offers to play at Harvard, Yale, Miss State, Kentucky, Indiana, Navy, Army. And he picks TROY!?!? For a guy that had his parents ...

Re: Lindsey Scott

All is quiet on the Lindsey front. I think he now has all P5 offers he is ever going to receive. So apparently, since he is a graduate JUCO, the general cut-off date for late student registration for the Spring Semester is the true deadline for finally ending the "Saga of Lindsey," one wa...

Re: 1998 National Champs!

Because it’s bush league as f**k to do so I kind of agree with drunk MsDos. Claiming a national title seems a little like claiming this was a bowl-game year. Our peer schools would probably be amused by this. I can imagine the quotes on their forums: "That's the only championship Tulane will w...

Re: Tulane and Notre Dame

Actually the scheduling to 2037 is their 5 games a year against ACC teams. They do have openings. If we continue to progress we should see if they'd make it part of the Shamrock Series. They play non conference Navy, Stanford and USC every year so that free’s up only one other non conference spot e...

A Tulane two for one with Notre Dame would be really great, and, regardless of whether or not Notre Dame's AD and Coach realizes this not, but it is not oblivious to losing to G5 teams.

It's shameful that SMU replaced Morris with Dykes. SMU and UCF each had an opportunity for huge hires and they both blew it. That's not to say that their coaches won't work out, but it is to say that there were better options available at the time. I hope that SMU is happy with Dykes given how bad ...

Fritz has earned cautious optimism at this point, as there are signs of significant progress (5 wins this season/2018 recruiting class) but there are still occasional signs regression (losses to FIU and Cincinnati/2017 recruiting class). However, all he needs to do is put together a complete season ...

From past discussions I don't think it impacts Tulane if they leave in good academic standing. As for Brown I hope things work out for him.
