Bryant has already left Clemson looking to make a splash . He certainly would here .

Hurt graduates in a few dzys . He would certainly be a welcome grad transfer here .

Willie knows he needs to speak with both .
Hurts isn't choosing Tulane over Oklahoma, Miami, TCU, or Maryland.

Re: All 130 FBS teams’ chances if they had to play North Dakota State, categorized

Good point. Actually the top 4 G5 teams could probably compete with the top 5-25 P5. Thus there's a few G5 teams in the top 25. But the media bias to the P5 really hurts the G5. I'm just amazed that there were 6 non-P5s in the final AP top 25. If it wasn't P5 bias, there should easily be 6 non-P5s ...

Re: UCF GOFUNDME Site to Investgate SEC

The approach that should be taken is for G5 teams to just stop scheduling P5s until the P5s provide access. That would be monumental and could potentially bring real change, as P5s aren't going to schedule 12 P5s in the regular season.

Re: UCF GOFUNDME Site to Investgate SEC

What are the real alternatives here? Hypothetical - Attorneys representing the G5 sue and have the CFP expanded to require the conference champion of all FBS conferences (and exclude Notre Dame by implication). What happens next? The P5 (and Notre Dame) break off and build their own division (1AA) w...

Re: AAC Bowl Game Performance

The issue is that coaching is always in flux in the AAC, and that plays a role in theses losses: 1. Memphis lost its OC prior to the bowl with its DC annoucing before the bowl that he was leaving. 2. USF lost its OC prior to the bowl. 3. Temple lost its HC and staff before the bowl. 4. Houston has i...

+1,000. This selective GOR issue (UCF, USF, Cincy, Memphis) is just the tip of the iceberg. I suspect we will see similar delineation between schools in other conferences, including the P5. In the end it won’t be Aresco that decides, it will be ESPN and other outlets. These same animal spirits will...

Re: New AAC TV deal

This was in the other article: "The conference is asking schools to sign a grant-of-rights agreement that theoretically would lock them into the conference for the duration of the next media rights deal." That again says that all schools are being asked to sign GOR's. Let me ask: What benefit does ...

Also, the AAC made a mistake by adding Tulsa and ECU, as those programs were added solely for their on the field performance - which is something that should never be done - and look how that has turned out for the conference. Those two slots are extremely valuable and will come back to haunt the c...

They should have never let Ruffin McNeill go. He's on the OU staff now. They could do a lot worse than bringing him back.
He probably wouldn't come back and I don't think anyone would blame him.

The dates of the conf games is not decided yet. There's no way we're playing three straight road games. There's also two weekends between the FCS game and the game @Army. We'll either have a home conf game and a bye week, or a home and an away conf game in those two weeks. Ah I misread the schedule...

FIU, Army, Navy and SMU should not be tough games in year 4. Three of these are road games, so that will make it harder. Of course, add in Tulsa, UConn and FCS Missouri State, all at Yulman, which should be three wins. Given a misstep in those first four, that's still six already. UCF/Auburn nope M...

How tough or successful 2019 will be depends on the answers to the following questions: 1. Who will be Houston’s OC? 2. Who will be Memphis’ HC? 3. How good will UCF be with a new starter at QB? 4. Who will be Tulsa’s and UConn’s HCs? 5. Can Tulane defeat FIU? 6. How will Tulane perform in away game...

Back to work for me. ROLL WAVE!

Looking at Rivals recruiting site, it should have been no surprise why Houston, Cinci & UCF are that much better than us. Houston has finished 7th, 1st & 6th over the last 3 years with (1) 5 star and (3) 4 star recruits. Cinci has finished 1st, 7th & 2nd with (2) 4 star recruits. UCF has finished 3...

The American Conference has 7 bowl tie-ins. We currently have 6 teams already bowl eligible with SMU and Tulane at 5-5. If it gets to a choice between SMU and Tulane both at 6-6, I would think SMU would be chosen because they beat us. Imagine finally getting bowl eligible and not having anywhere to...

Re: Tulane blows out USF and Kansas’ coach is fired the next days. Coincidence?

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy we won and all. But c'mon, WF's record here is still putrid, and it'll take a string of convincing wins and a winning season to at least get any interest from other schools... I don't believe Kansas would be remotely interested in a 58 year-old coach whose head coachin...
