Really easy to call out another fan bases’ student section for being classless when we don’t even get students to show up

Re: Seat Licenses/Priority Seating Charge

I can only guess this has been in the works under the assumption this past spring and summer that football would be a 7-9 win team with basketball improving and baseball making the postseason. Dannen is betting on the coaches he has hired. Having watched said coaches, I have to say he’s got some se...

Re: Potential head football coach candidates search

Back to finding a replacement for Fritz. How about Chip Lindsay the offensive coordinator at Auburn? I followed him when he was the oc at Southern Miss under Todd Monken and was very impressed by his offensive scheme and play calling. Have you seen Auburn play offense lately? Not good and it’s not ...

Re: QB Play

No imagination at all. QBs have no chance. Because we don’t dump short passes to TEs and RBs including screens, opponents can blitz on 3rd and 4th downs and long every time without fear of getting burned. It really is high schoolish. I saw a few throws to the backs and TE's. Much like the WR's, the...

Re: 2018-2019 Pre-Season Basketball Thread

The team will be better this year than last year; and next year will be better than this year. How much better in each case, I don't know. And they will be a lot better than they were in 16-17. Based on what? Based on 3 years in a system and better overall talent and more depth. Frazier was obvious...

i. will defend Dannen to a degree. I liked his hires and thought each checked a box. WF was experienced and had a reputation for turning around programs. MD was an out of the box hire that immediately added some national exposure and seemingly could solve (with his name and reputation) some of the ...

We need to stop flying that damn P6 flag until we play like we even deserve to be part of it, if there really is anything to be a part of.
Let Central Florida fly it.
We should worry about beating CUSA level teams first

Re: Wave beats the Wave Again as UAB wins 31-24

Tulane would never consider Art Briles but until recently we could have had his son Kendal Briles as our OC. After last season Kendal left FAU for Houston so now we have no chance of getting him. What is the story on Rich Rod? Arizona fired him last season after he was accused of sexual harassment....

It's a nice pipedream to think we're going to change the offense or the offensive coordinator in the middle of the season. It's just not going to happen.
I don’t think anyone is expecting that. Just suggesting potential moves in the offseason

I believe Rich Rod said Arizona would be his last job, but I’m sure he thought it would be a longer and more successful tenure.

mid 80's is fast enuff to be successful if you have control of your pitches and can "spot" and move the ball, Greg Maddux was in the big's for a long time, he had a batting practice fastball Not the 1st time I’ve had to debunk this but Maddux threw like 93 in his prime and always had ridiculous mov...

Re: UAB GameDay Thread

It isn’t the coaching. Can’t get the players due to academics. Recruits don’t give a damn about academics and Tulane actually thinks it helps in recruiting, time to seriously think about giving up on athletics. They are an embarrassment to the University as a whole. Never thought I would ever see t...

Again if you don't think there's a cumulative effect on our QB's who rush throws even when they don't have to I can't help you.
Good quarterbacks don’t make a habit of rushing throws because they expect pressure even if it’s not actually there

Re: Nicholls St. Game Thread

What I'm saying is who has been consistent behind our offensive lines. Banks is by far the most talented QB we've had recently and his athletic ability is reminiscent of TJ in that he gives our team a chance to win. Again, the throws I’m talking about had nothing to do with poor protection. They we...

Re: Nicholls St. Game Thread

How about the perfectly thrown ball in the first half that should have been a TD but Encalade dropped. Again he didn't have his best night but the offensive line issues contribute mightily to that. If you don't think playing behind this line has cumulative effects on our QB's then I can't help you....

Re: Nicholls St. Game Thread

Yes b/c every throw every QB ever made was perfect. He was why we had a chance to win the game. Our HC has focused his talk all week on how the line needs to improve. That's where the real problem is. 3 throws of 14 in the 1st half were downright terrible. That’s not going to be good enough . He wa...
