Re: Tre Jackson

Of all our freshman DB's Will Harper has gotten the most PT and not surprisingly he was the only one to go thru spring practice. I have seen Hall, Napolean, and S. Harper on special teams and I have seen Hall get some snaps at DB. Jackson was on sideline this past week but was in shorts and white ga...

Are those tennis courts next to Devlin on the site where the UC is now?

I agree. So much open space.

Breaux was a dual threat HS QB with decent stats from his senior year.

Just sayin.....

Re: Tanner Lee has been given his release.....

If Tanner graduates this spring he could transfer and have two years of eligibility remaining. I would imagine either that is his plan or going FCS. I doubt he will transfer FBS to sit out a year to play a year.

Who can remember those days from early 90's in Fogelman. If we ran that promotion today we may have to lower the point goal to 60.

Re: Fitts on Athletics

I will not miss RD's rambling, non sensical press conferences. Our new AD has an energy that we never saw under RD. He is active on Twitter and social media which in 2015 is how folks communicate. One tweet from TD will hit more folks than one of RD's emails or letters. Believe it or not I actually ...

Re: Tanner Lee

The Tanner Lee debate will end once and for all in spring practice and this upcoming season. If he has a Shaun King turn around between his Soph and Jr year then we will know where the problem was. If he struggles and gets replaced then all the Tanner bashers will be proven correct. Our offense the ...

Re: Potential head football coach candidates search

My auburn friends said Chizik ran a very loose ship at Auburn. Discipline was lacking and folks of questionable character started bleeding into the program. I think since we are in the process of getting out from a coach with similar qualities we need to go in another direction. I think Chizik is a ...

Re: Press conference

I had goose bumps at the end of the press conference. That is what we have needed for a long time. Now he just needs to put some actions behind his words but I feel much better about our athletic department than I have in a very very long time.

Looks like some players have had enough of this staff as well

4 RS juniors walking with seniors Friday. Not coming back. Two are starters on oline.

2 more contributors thinking about doing the same.

The players know this staff has no chance at success. They are not stupid.

I don't think we can assess any of our players in this mess of a program. Only after decent coaching can we see what we have.

Good morning everyone, University Action - Would the university actually keep CJ. We all know CJ is a great guy, loves people, keeps his word, is a minister and really is a great ambassador for the university as far as values and flat out being genuine. He is a great role model for many young men. ...

Regardless of our record our empty stadium on Nov 27 should be enough to get CJ fired. I received email yesterday offering all Glazer club members extra free tickets because so many tickets have been returned for that last game. That doesn't sound good.

Re: How do you lose to Alabama A&M at home?

Pretty simple really...poor shooting, poor ball security, poor coaching, poor defense, and a boat load of stupid ass fouls. Our zone offense looks like my over 40 Men's Church league offense....and I am not kidding. We have a high and low post and 3 guards around 3 point line. We pass it in and out ...

Re: CJ today=clueless and disgusting

CJ is the symptom, not the problem. At least he's going to come out of this with some decent money. CJ is a good man, and Tulane may end up being the best thing that ever happened to him. I don't begrudge him a penny of the money. But I do think he is over-matched as a HC, and needs to be replaced ...

It think 2011 would beat 2015 in a pillow fight. A Toledo "special play" would be the difference.

Re: CJ on the "Hot Seat" for 2015

I don't think we will ever really know what kind of OC Price would have been at Tulane because from what I have been told he is not running his offense. He is being over ruled by CJ at every turn. If what I have been told is true Price should have left 3 years ago because his career has been ruined ...

Lee looked terrible as did the entire offense. I just think it is impossible to judge these guys in the scheme they are in. Second to last drive of game when we need to score in horrible weather and on 3rd and 10 we call two receivers to run streaks down the sideline and have Lee throw up what was e...

Programs have gone from non existent to being competitive in less time than we have had to "recover" from Katrina. Tired excuse.

Let's see how long it takes UAB to be competitive after having their program shut down for a year. I am not saying top 25. Just competive.

I am going to say Uconn will run a fake punt or FG against us for a big play. All those other choices are so tired and boring. We have seen them so many times before. I am ready for something new ;)

Always something in Tulane game I have never seen before

I can't ever recall a kick off returner non chalant a kick off 5 yards deep in end zone and have it bounce off his shoulder pad and end up getting downed at 1/2 yard line. That was a first for me. Why a true freshman returning kickoffs is beyond me when we have Badie, Veal, and Breaux doing next to ...
