Can’t believe we are only a 10.5 pt. underdog? Who in his right mind would bet this Dunlevy team?

Re: Will Hall to Troy?

I've seen a number of Troy fans mention his name as being in the discussion. Don't know how solid the information is though. https://twitter.com/ESPNRittenberg/status/1082684007605854208?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1082684007605854208&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.raginpagin.com...

UCF & CIncy - Final AP Poll for 2018

For the final AP poll UCF is no. 11, Cincy no. 24. Others teams from the G5 for the final poll are Army no. 19, and all from the Mountain West Conference - Fresco St., no. 18, Utah St. 22, & Boise St. 23. In my opinion LSWho at no. 6 is overrated. So, it would appear the MW Conference has something...

Re: Dana H now at UH

Please keep this and other threads on topic. Thank you. My only comment re the Cajuns was that last year when Napier was hired, he was given a $2 MM pool for his assistants, which I understood was near the top of the G5's at the time. Houston, I commented, had blown that out of the water with their...

Re: UCF GOFUNDME Site to Investgate SEC

But then, suppose the NCAA threatens to pull the plug on their other sports programs? Try telling LSU baseball players they can't win a national championship because their baseball program isn't part of the NCAA? Or Duke's basketball team? March Madness is an NCAA event, isn't it? Do the P5s really...

Re: UCF GOFUNDME Site to Investgate SEC

The NCAA is almost certainly in violation of anti-trust laws, but I'm not sure what the alternative is or if it would be better or worse for the non-elite schools. Conferences are probably a necessity to create some sort of order and consistency with scheduling and rivalry. Once you have conference...

Re: UCF GOFUNDME Site to Investgate SEC

The approach that should be taken is for G5 teams to just stop scheduling P5s until the P5s provide access. That would be monumental and could potentially bring real change, as P5s aren't going to schedule 12 P5s in the regular season. +1, great idea but getting the G5s to do anything is like tryin...

Re: UCF GOFUNDME Site to Investgate SEC

A group called Knights.com has started a Go Fund Me site to investigate SEC “elitism” and potential anti-trust violations. Well, $5,000 might get you a few Freedom of Information Act requests (FOIA), a real antitrust suit would cost about 50 million bucks. https://www.cincinnati.com/story/sports/20...

Re: Dana H now at UH

But how much did it help the UL-L Cajuns on 12/15/18? Seriously, enough talk about the UL-L assistants salary pool. Most of us couldn't care less. Less than a year into their jobs with a divisional title, a championship game and a bowl appearance under their belts. I'd say they got off to a pretty ...

I certainly never expected that Cajun team to sniff a bowl game much less a divisional title in Year One.

Re: Lindsey Scott to be a Tiger again :(

His FB career path choices have been a complete train wreck. It’s nearly impossible to mess up that bad if when trying. The QB’s today that sit at least try to move on to a program where there’s an opportunity to start. His moves have been baffling. 1) Almost every fringe LA recruit who gets a LSU ...

Jeff Sagarin ranks Cincy 18, Tulane 261. And, we are ranked by Sagarin last in our conference; even East Carolina is ranked 229.

Sad, truly sad, and disgraceful.

And, if Justin stays healthy he will start 13 games for us next year (yes, we go bowling again). :) 14 games. I fully expect us to be in t...
