Re: Tulane/LSU baseball series

We can discuss the relevancy, but LSU uses surge pricing for Football (not sure on Bball and baseball). They also use surge pricing for parking tmk. Maybe Bama and Georgia should ask the SEC to cancel all further games at Tiger Stadium  http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&...

Re: Tulane/LSU baseball series

And, at 10:00 p.m on WLAE, Cox 14 inside sports with Eric Asher airs, which might be the same show as on Cox 116 now.

And, on channel 116 they took Dannen’s side on the baseball mess saying LSU was being childish.

Re: SMU rolls out lower concession prices

Does anyone know what Tulane's prices are? This is from 2014. I think they are probably higher in 2018 http://u.cubeupload.com/Tpstulane/BA7DE1B193754D57A4C0.jpeg Anything to make the games more “family friendly” is a good thing. I’m even old enough to remember when there were plenty of kids at Sai...

Re: Sports Illustrated Article on Billy Napier & Cajun Football Program

https://www.si.com/college-football/2018/07/18/billy-napier-louisiana-lafayette-nick-saban Some seven months into Napier’s tenure here, the football offices are abuzz, not only with renewed enthusiasm, but with more people. Napier took this job on the promise that he could expand the football staff...

So he's had since 2008 and didn't do it until TD's horrific decision. Sorry but this isn't about is being competitive. Or you can say, he didn't do it until we started beating them. Perspective. Not about perspective. It's about reality. We have had other periods of beating them and the series wasn...

LSU baseball takes center stage tonight. Bregman MLB All Star MVP with go ahead HR in the 10th. Yes, the whole baseball world is talking about how he went to LSU. Not really, though. If you lived down here you’d understand. https://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2018/07/alex_bregman_mlb_all-star...

Re: Tulane/LSU baseball series

I don't see how we can accept Lsu's offer of playing in the Wally Pontiff Classic at Zephyr Field. That would set a bad precedent and "normalize" us playing them once a year at a neutral site instead of home and away games against them each season. We need to wait it out until LSU fires Alleva due ...

Re: Tulane Wins Game 2 against LSU

Funny. I was reading their board and they want to replace us with USM. That’s who I thought we could replace them with. Bring on Vegas, Baby....as in StarkVegas !!!!!...better yet....an idea for the ages, Tulane and UNO team up for a tag team baseball match against Auburn and 'Bama...or Texas and T...

Re: Tulane/LSU baseball series

This isn't about us winning 5 of the last 6. It's about TD trying to fleece their fans by trying to make them pay to see it. Their AD understands that he works for their fans . Ours doesn't. This also isn't about being reliant on LSU. This is about our greatest and longest rivalry. A game that alwa...

Re: Tulane/LSU baseball series

This is on Dannen, but just the same I sincerely hope Alleva is fired together with Orgeron after this season and following 2020 we can reboot our relationship for baseball. LSU’s inferiority complex to Tulane as a university is well deserved. This is on Dannen but the fact we have won 5 of the last...

Re: Tulane Wins Game 2 against the Tiggers

My biggest concern would be LSU refuses to come to NOLA and play us. That would cost Tulane it’s biggest baseball payday and would really hurt our baseball program. Counting ticket sales, suite sales, parking and concessions we probably gross in the $125,00-$150,000 ballpark for this one game. They...

Welcome to gotula.net, where it's never too late to mention Tanner Lee, Andy Cannizaro, Lindsey Scott Jr., Rich Rodriguez, David Pierce, or, of course, Scott Cowan.

OK, but next time at least spell Cowen's name right.

Same problem as always. Bullpen can't hold the lead. That's why TJ had to leave Roper in so long. He threw 117 pitches.
